Notes
ordinary, fleeting, coarse almost everything is painted over in red; f. 29b is left blank by the scribe — black, red — Arabic script → Nastaʽlīq — paper — A Turkish script written by the famous poet Fużūlī using other scripts
Translation of the Persian work by Ḥusain al-Waʿiẓ entitled Rauḍat aš-šuhadāʾ
al-Kāšifī; divided into 11 chapters and a Ḫātima. In contrast to Petermann II, this manuscript shows 26 Eastern Turkish language forms.
According to Pertsch, the reason may be that the scribe, a native of Andīkān
and worked in Marġīnān, translated the text into the Eastern Turkish dialect he was more familiar with
rewritten.
