Shaikh Hamzah Fansuri and Shamsuddin al-Sumatra'i and his followers. According to
al-Raniri, one of the expressions of the followers of wujūdiyya who are considered heretical
is because they say that: inna Allāha nafsun wa wujūdun wa naḥnu nafsuh
wa wujūduh, which translates to; and they say that Allah is the Most High
ourselves and we are His and His wujūd (l. 2). Al-Raniri's discussion is organized into 2 (two) chapters: first, explaining various religions
(actually, more precisely various schools, beliefs, and sects) that have ever existed since
from the time of Prophet Adam to Prophet Isa, such as the Barahima, Samaniyya, Tanasikhiyya,
and Halwaliyya. In some respects, al-Raniri equates the teachings of wujūdiyya with several
the flow that he considers as the heresy. The second chapter expresses disagreement
all madhhabs of the Prophet Muhammad (l. 18). Al-Raniri quotes the prophet's hadith which says
that the prophet's people will be divided into 70 groups that will all go to hell, except
1 group that will enter heaven, namely the group of ahl al-sunna wa al-jama'a.
