Notes
Fuzûlî's work containing Arabic poems. It is not known exactly when Fuzûlî wrote his Arabic Divan. The poems of the Arabic Dîvân we have consist of 11 odes and 1 half ode. The poems in the Arabic Dîvân, the only surviving copy of which is in the Asian Manuscripts Library in Leningrad, consist of 465 couplets. Berthels first discussed Fuzûlî's Arabic poems in an article he published in 1930. According to Berthels, Fuzûlî's Arabic poems are in the Asian Museum Library in Leningrad h. It is located between pages 189-199 in the Fuzuli Collection, which was copied in 997. Berthels claims that these poems constitute the entire Arabic Divan of Fuzûlî. Based on the information given by Berthels, Hz. In Prophet 3, Hz. It is recorded that Ali was praised. Hz. While there are 2-7 couplets of praise among the 30 couplets in the odes about the Prophet. There are 27, 30, 26 couplets, i.e. a total of 83 couplets of praise, in the 3 odes claimed to have been written about Ali. İnan and Dakûkî argue that these poems do not constitute the entire Arabic Divan of Fuzûlî and that the Ali mentioned in his poems is Ali b. He states that he is Muhsin and that his Shiite-Hurufi tendency is very strong because there are many expressions about Musha'shaism in the text (İnan 1940: 59-61; Dakûkî 1996: 53-68). Ayhan Erdoğan reports that Berthels translated these two odes into Russian (Erdoğan 2010: 171-182). In his work on the subject, Bayram states that Dakûkî's determination is wrong and that the person Fuzuli means in his Arabic Divan is Hz. He states that he is Ali (Bayram 2010: 54-65). Fuad Köprülü, in his study on the subject, gives information about the content and formal elements of the Arabic Divan, based on Berthels. According to Köprülü, 7 of the odes in the Arabic Dîvân are about Hz. About the Prophet, 3 of them are about Hz. He agrees with Berthels's opinion that the odes about Ali have no obvious literary value, are cold and devoid of feeling. In terms of style, tone and language, Fuzûlî's odes do not taste like an effective poem written in Arabic and contain many problems in terms of language. Based on the information given by both Sâdıkî and Tahir of Bursa from Lebîbî, İnan and Bayram are of the opinion that the corpus in Leningrad contains only a part of Fuzûlî's Arabic Divan. Stating that the collection published by Hamid Araslı in Baku in 1958 contained many errors, Bayram said that the first four eulogies in the collection were about Hz. It is stated that the 5th ode was dedicated to the Prophet and that it was not fully understood to whom the 5th ode was dedicated, and that the sixth and seventh odes were also dedicated to the Prophet. It records that it was dedicated to the Prophet. According to Bayram, it is not fully understood to whom the eighth ode is dedicated. The last three eulogies are from Hz. It is dedicated to Ali. Bayram notes that the 11 eulogies in Fuzûlî's Arabic Dîvân are quite harmonious in terms of rhyme and style, and that in six of the odes, the perfect spelling is used, and in one of them, the vafir ode is used. Fuzûlî also included his own pseudonym in his odes in accordance with the Turkish and Persian tradition (Bayram 2010: 54-65). Fuzûlî's Arabic DivanE. It was introduced by Berthels (1930) and published with Turkish translations by Hamid Araslı (1958) and Ali Bayram (2010). For the poet's biography, see. “Fuzuli”.Turkish Literature Names Dictionary.
