Notes	Fevzî's religious-sufistic, didactic masnavi. Bülbilistân was written under the influence of Molla Câmî's Baharistân, Şeyh Sadî's Bostân and Gülistân, Kemal Paşazade's Nigârnâmesi and Şeyh Şücâ's Sünbülistan. Fevzî completed his work in 1152 A.D. 1739. It is seen that the work was confused with the work of the same name by Fevzî Mehmed Efendî (d. 1318/1900), known as the Mufti of Edirne, due to the similarity of the authors' names. Bülbülistan was written in Persian, in a mixture of verse and prose, and consists of 66 leaves. The author included 146 poems in different verse forms, including stanza (85), nazm (19), terci-bent (1), masnavi (2), ghazal, poem and couplet, in order to facilitate reading and ensure fluency among the prose. 11 different aruz patterns were used in these poems (Altınay 2020: 246). An enthusiastic address style is used in the work, whose language is eloquent and distinct. Another striking aspect of the work is that Fevzî included two Turkish poems. The work consists of six sections called basmala, praise of the Prophet, sebeb-i te'lîf, "huld" (heaven), hatime and temmet sections. According to the work, the number six in the chapters corresponds to the conditions of faith, the creation of the world in six days, and the presentation of the work as the sixth work that fulfills the deficiencies of the five works that contributed to its writing. Each leaf of the work, in which each section/section is considered as the eternal garden of paradise, is decorated with wisdom and jokes. In the first part of the work, the miracles of many religious and Sufi elders, especially Mevlana, are mentioned. In this respect, the work has the nature of a hagiography. In the second part, there are twelve pieces of Sufi wisdom. In the third chapter, the author tells seven exemplary stories of guidance, which are called "ihlas" and have a religious mystical aspect. The fourth chapter contains short literary personalities of eleven poets who wrote Persian poetry in Bosnia and the Ottoman lands, as in Baharistan, and examples of their poems called "quites". In this section, which is a Tezkire, Turkish poets such as Adlî, Hayâlî, Bâkî are also mentioned. The fifth section contains humorous jokes, again in the style of Baharistan. In the sixth and last chapter, a long story is told about the generosity of Fazl Bermekî's son. Most of the stories in the work are quoted from Hucvîrî's Keşfü'l-Mahcûb and Eflâkî's Menâkıbü'l-Ârifîna (Kaska 2021: 535). The work, which seems to have made a significant contribution to the field, is a guide that shows humanity the ways of literary happiness. This guidance embodies the role that will be used in teaching Persian through wisdom-based poems, as in Gülistân. The only known copy of the work is from Mersinli Abdurrahman b. It was copied by Osman in 1877 and is registered in the Atatürk University Library with the donation of Seyfettin Özege, number K-1834, T-891.5.
