Şevkî, who deals with religious and mystical subjects in the majority of his Persian poems, besides these subjects, deals with topics such as human love, wine, lovers, nature, and the mortality of worldly life; It gave almost no place to social issues. In his Persian poems, he clearly stated that he was particularly influenced by the famous poets of Persian literature, Sa'di and Hafez. The second copy of the Dîvân is in the Istanbul Millet Library, Ali Emiri. It is registered in the Verse Works Department with the inventory number 235 (leafs 1b-68a are Turkish, pages 68b-123a are Persian, and pages 123b-149a are Arabic divans). (Bektaş 2016: 38-40). In both copies, right at the beginning of the work, there is the phrase "This is the Se-Zebân Dîvân, written by Mardin mufti Es-Seyyid Ömer Şevkî Efendi, one of the residents of Mardin." Therefore, it is necessary to perceive this work not as three different divans, but as a single work/collection in which poems composed of three languages are presented together under the name Dîvân-ı Se-zebân, that is, three divans are combined.
