Notes The work consists of Persian poems of the poet with the pseudonym Gülşenî. The Dîvân, whose beginning is missing, contains 25 odes, 1 composition-bend, 177 ghazals, 3 long poems under the title of hymns, 17 stanzas, 13 of which are in the hazel and 4 of which are in praise style, and 6 rubas. In addition, after the odes, there are couplets under the title of praising and bragging, and 2 poems without a pseudonym (Gülşenî: vr. 42b-43a), and after the rubais, there are couplets (Gülşenî: vr. 92b-93b). The beginning of the first ode in the Dîvân, which describes the conquest of Shkodra, is missing. Most of the other odes are written by Fatih Sultan Mehmed and II. It was written to praise Bayezid. In the 15th ode, the poet mentions Rûdegî, Hâkânî, Enverî, Reşîdî, Mu'izzî, Ferîd-i Ahvel, Seyfî-i İsferengî, Kemâl-i İsfehânî, Zâhir, İmâmî, Selmân, Husrev, Hasan, Sa'dî, He showed his knowledge of this literature by evaluating the master poets of Persian poetry such as Hâcû, İmâd, Hâfız, Hayâlî, Kâtibi, Fettâ'î, Bedr-i Hilâlî, Şâhî, Tâli'î, Tûsî (Ferzan 1980: 81, 82). The only composition in the work is an elegy in which the death of Fatih is discussed. The ghazals started with a ghazal with the rhyming letter y, and then continued alphabetically. Most of the ghazals have 5 couplets. Gülşenî, who knows the Persian language, poetry and poets well, has a strong expression and language in his odes and ghazals. The influence of Hafez is seen in his ghazals. He has a sarcastic language in his rhymes. He used idioms successfully and effectively (Ferzan 1980: 80, 87). The only known copy of Gülşenî's Dîvân is registered in Bayezid State Library, Manuscripts Department, number 5820. Ebrahim Ferzan did a doctoral study on the work, including the poet's Râznâme (1980). For the poet's biography, see. “Gülşenî (Saruhanî)”.Turkish Literature Names Dictionary.
