Notes
The work consists of Aynî's Persian poems. Aynî's Persian Divançe consists of a total of 444 couplets. The work includes 4 odes, 32 ghazals, 2 tahmis, 2 stanzas and 1 matla. The first kaside is Şevket-i Buhariye as a parallel and in praise of Sultan Mahmud. The second ode is on the occasion of Sait Pasha becoming the son-in-law of Sultan Mahmud in 1252. The third is the sûriyye written for the circumcision ceremony of the son of the former Baghdad governor Davud Pasha, held in 1249. The last one is a mehdia in praise of Sultan Mahmud and a verse to an eulogy of the ambassador of Iran, Hudadat Khan. 15 of the 32 ghazals in Divançe are verses. These are Şevket-i Buharî (6), Bîdil (4), Saib-i Tebrizî (3), İsmet-i Buharî (1), Hoca Neşet (1). The second of the ghazals is to Selam, Bîdil and Pertev, and the 23rd is to Bîdil and Şevket-i Buharî. The names of Ottoman poets Hoca Neşet and Pertev are mentioned in the titles of Nazire ghazals. The first of the tahmis is a ghazal by Şeyh Halit, in the form of mutarraf tahmis. The second one is in the form of tahmis for a ghazal by Yavuz Sultan Selim. Most of Aynî's Persian poems are verses to Şevket. It is noticeable that the understanding of nazire has changed in these Persian poems. While the necessary conditions for being a nazire can be listed as meter, rhyme, redif and unity of subject, the only connection between the poem stated to be written in nazire and the nazire poem in Aynî's Persian poems is the unity of meter and redif. In fact, in the last couplet of his second ghazal, Aynî states that he and Selâm, Bîdil and Pertev wrote parallels to the same ghazal and that they became friends "for the sake of a grain of dew". Here, the expression "dew grain" refers to the worthless substance that has little value other than the poetry they may have written and that disappears with a small impact. Aynî from Antep, who declared himself Nakşî and Celveti, must have decided on Mevleviism with his love for Mevlana and Mevlevi. It has an important place among the recent poets who sing poetry in Persian because it is close to Mevlevi circles, especially Şeyh Galib and Pertev. Divançe is in the 38-65 volumes of Ayni Külliyatı, published in 1258/1842. It is among the pages. Aynî's Persian Divançe was published (Aksoyak 2016). For the poet's biography, see. "Aynî, Antepli".
