Notes A magazine of mixed content from the 16th century, whose compiler is unknown. The work, which includes verse and prose texts in Turkish (Chagatai Turkish) and Persian, consists of 153 pages. Three pages of the manuscript (1a, 9a, 107a) are left blank. According to the catalog prepared by the Turkish Manuscripts Association, there are five different works in the manuscript. The works in the manuscript are as follows, respectively: Hayâ'î's Meylem-nâme (1b-8b), Hikâyet-i Hazret-i Süleyman Nebî Aleyhisselam ve Sî-murg ve Kıssa-i Kaza ve Kader (9b-54b), Hikâyet ve Sergüzeşt-i Melik Mehmed Puser-i Bâzergân(54b-95b), Story and Sergüzeşt-i Caliph-i Baghdad and Vizier-i Fasl(95b-106b), Ebû Nasr Mescûd b. Nisâbu's-Sıbyân (107b-152b), which is an Arabic-Persian verse dictionary prepared by Ebi Bekr el-Ferâhî (d. 1221). The name of the work recorded in Chagatai Turkish on pages 1b-8b of the magazine and stated as Meylem-nâme in the catalog has been read incorrectly and should be corrected as Yetîm-nâme. Moreover, as mentioned, pages 1b-8b contain not only the Yetîm-nâme belonging to the poet Hayâ'î, but also other texts. The texts recorded on pages 1b-8b of the magazine are as follows: Yesevi poet Şems-i Asî's Hz. A poem he wrote in quatrains called Yetîm-nâme-i Resûl salla'llâhu aleyhive sallem, in which he describes the events that took place between Muhammad and an orphan child in the style of wisdom tradition (1b-4b), five ghazals and a piece of wisdom belonging to Yesevî poet Hayâî (4b-6b), a five-line verse piece of unknown origin (6b), some issues related to belief. A prose piece in which it is narrated (6b-8a), two ghazals of unknown origin (8a), a prose piece with an appeal (8b) (Bakırcı 2013: 717). Two studies were made by Fatih Bakırcı to introduce some of the texts in the magazine (2013; 2020).
