Notes The poem Kasîdetü'l-Kâfiyye, originally known as "El-Münâcâtü'l-Meymûne", is one of the poems written in Arabic by Sheikh Cemâleddîn İshâk Efendi. As its name suggests, this poem, which is in the genre of munajat, is about pleading and praying to God. The reason why the poem is called Kasîdetü'l-Kâfiyye is that the couplet rhymes are in the form of "كا". The ode has 33 couplets and is written in the aruz "mefâ'îlün mefâ'îlün fe'ûlün" pattern. Redif is not preferred in the ode, and the rhyme is designed to end with kaf-elif such as "de'âkâ, sivâkâ, nerâkâ, yedâkâ, recâkâ". The poem, prepared in the classical ode form in the literary tradition, consists of nasib and prayer sections. Praying to Allah, Hz. Apart from the expressions of praise to the Prophet and his relatives, the poem generally contains supplication and prayer expressions. There are around fifteen copies of the Kafiyye Kasidesi, both manuscript and printed, in various libraries. The Kasidetü'l-Kâfiyye was examined by İbrahim Aydın, Tarık Tanrıbilir and Yasin Karakuş, and was presented to the benefit of the scientific world with its investigation and translation (2019: 793-816).For the poet's biography, see.
