Notes	Muhyiddin Mehmed bin Bedreddin el-Münşî's Arabic Qaside-i Bürdeşî. The author made a concise annotation of Bûsîrî (d. 696/1297?)'s Kaside-i Bürde in Arabic. Mehmed Münşî Efendi, in the introduction of the work, which starts with a selection and full of artistic expressions, expresses his desire to attain blessings and intercession as the purpose of annotating the work, and his desire to be included in this circle, as we see in many Bürde translations and commentaries. Mehmed Münşî Efendi has annotated all the couplets of the source work. The author, who rarely explains several couplets at once, explained the couplets in a concise manner. He only gave the meaning of some couplets. He explained the source couplets by quoting Arabic verses from different poets, sometimes from himself, under the title "al-fakir". Sometimes he also resorted to grammatical explanations; He explained the words by quoting from Arabic language scholars such as Ferra (d. 207/822) and Zamakhshari (d. 538/1144). In many couplets, an effort was made to convey the idea intended to be expressed in the couplet by using expressions such as "fi'l-esâs (in fact), "ve'l-murâd min (the purpose of)". The copy of the commentary, which has more than one copy in the manuscript libraries, registered at the Süleymaniye Library, Nuruosmaniye Section, number 4013, was published in Rebiülâhir 996/March 1588, before the death of the author. It is important in terms of copying. The work, which focuses on the semantic features of the couplets, sometimes includes grammatical explanations in terms of their effect on meaning, includes evidence from different grammar scholars, and quotes Arabic poetry examples from almost every source couplet, sometimes from the commentator himself and mostly from other poets, can be evaluated among the concise Arabic Bürde commentary.
