A small treatise of approximately ten pages written by Hüdâyî in Arabic on the virtue of prayer. This work, which means Miftâhu's-salât ve mirkâtü'n-necât, "The Key to Prayer and the Ladder of Salvation", consists of three parts. First PartIn this section, information is given about how to perform prayer, its wisdom and etiquette. A person who starts to pray should renew his repentance and turn to the qibla with his heart and body and turn towards the presence of God Almighty. Placing both hands at navel level and on the navel during prayer has a different meaning and value as the navel is Mecmau'l-bahreyn, that is, the meeting place of the two seas. Because the upper half of the human being, above the navel, is the treasury of heavenly secrets, including the heart, and the part where spiritual and spiritual soldiers are located. The other half of man is the repository of local secrets and the headquarters of earthly armies. These two elements are constantly in conflict in humans, especially in prayer. By placing the right hand on the left hand, the soul, which is the source of corruption and perversion, is symbolically placed under siege and the earthly forces are prevented from climbing upwards and affecting the spiritual forces. When spiritual forces invade the body under the influence of the light of observation and with the help of Allah, the soldiers of the soul and Satan are defeated. The whispers of delusion and the soul disappear and the person who prays reaches the state of peace and the world of fame. Second Chapter: In this chapter, the virtues of prayer are explained. Based on the verse that emphasizes paying attention to the middle prayer, the focus is on moderation and the middle path. Attention is drawn to awe with the narration that sounds similar to the bubbling of a pot come from the Prophet's chest during prayer. Third Chapter: This chapter is about the virtues of Friday and congregation. The author processes this section in two subheadings. In the first chapter, he explains the virtue of Friday. In the second chapter, he gives information about the virtue of the community. The treatise is completed with the following advice and recommendations under the title "Yâ eyyühe'l-veledu's-sâlih/O righteous son": "Every act of worship has a quality and every deed has a hidden wisdom. There are many benefits in complying with the outward and the inward. One must be attentive and vigilant without being a slave to one's desires. Because man's desires can lead a person astray from the path of God. Mankind has always been devoted to those who follow the path of God." One should not be one of those who are deceived by their own souls and remain deficient. All of the paths leading to Allah are closed to the creatures. This open path is the path of those who walk in the footsteps of the Lord of the universe. It is possible to strive for religious obedience by worshiping the Lord until death comes (al-Hijr, 15/99). Mehmed Muizzüddin, one of the disciples of Risâle Hüdâyî. It was commented and translated by Celvetî under the name Misbâhu's-salât ve mirkâtu'd-derecât fî şerh-ı miftâhı's-salah ve mirkâtı'n-necât. A copy of this commentary is in Hacı Selim Ağa - Hüdâyî 483/1, and a copy is in Süleymaniye - Mihrişah S. It is in 253/2. The treatise was translated by H.
