Notes Zahir Bigiyev's novel written in Tatar. The work begins with the discovery of a young girl named Züleyha dead in her hotel room in Kazan. The murder weapon is not at the scene. The evidence found in the room and the letter written by Züleyha point to a person named Musa. Detective Branch reaches Musa Salihov by tracking him. Musa, the son of Gabdullah Efendi, one of the rich people of Kazan, studied at university in Petersburg and took over the business when his father died. He is about to marry Hedice, the daughter of the rich merchant Ehmedi Hemidov. Hamidov will give one hundred thousand sums of silver coins together with his daughter Hedice. Musa is arrested on suspicion of escape. Musa's friend Andreyev takes on the job of lawyer. In court, Gabdünnasır, who was staying at the hotel and also a friend of Musa, and the hotel owner, Gabdullin, testified as witnesses. Musa went to the hotel that evening and left at midnight. It is believed that Moses killed Züleyha. This decision causes Musa's fiancée Hedice to become sick with sadness, and her family takes her to Samara to recover. Andreyev asks detective Shubin for help to find Musa's real killer. Subin, suspecting that Gabdünnasır is the murderer, makes a plan. Detective Ivanov disguises himself and starts working at Gabdullin's hotel. Ivanov looks after Gabdunnasser's affairs and gains his trust. Gabdünnasır wanted to marry Hedice and thus have one hundred thousand sums of silver coins, but he had to give up this desire when his friend Musa got engaged to Hedice. Now that Musa is in prison, his hope of marrying Hedice is revived. Ehmedi decides to go to Samara to meet Hemidov and Hedice. Detective Branch comes to the hotel where Gabdünnasır, who is preparing to go to Samara, is staying, posing as a customer who wants to rent a room, and searches for evidence in Gabdünnasır's room. On the pieces of paper he found, Bahçesaray, Salacık, Sümeyman Mirza's wife were written. Shubin explains the situation to lawyer Andreyev and goes to Crimea without wasting time. He meets Süleyman Mirza's wife Ayşe Hanım in the village of Salacık, close to Bahçesaray. Ayşe Hanım is Züleyha's mother. He says that Züleyha was not killed, she committed suicide. He shows Shubin the letter he wrote to himself before committing suicide. Züleyha went against her family, who did not allow her to marry Musa, whom she met and fell in love with in Petersburg, and went to Kazan to find Musa. When Züleyha learns that Musa will marry Hedice, she cannot return to Crimea and commits suicide. Shubin takes the letter that Züleyha wrote to her mother to Kazan to save Musa, on the condition that he send it back. Musa's innocence is understood and he is released. Musa's friend, Gabdünnasır, heard the sound of Züleyhan's gun at the hotel. When he entered the room, he took the gun and the suicide note and mistook the incident for murder. When it became clear that Gabdünnasır had a hand in Musa's conviction, Gabdünnasır committed suicide by drinking poison. He leaves behind a letter stating that he committed suicide. Finally, Musa and Hedice get married. Two points are noteworthy in the novel "Uluf Yaki the Beautiful Girl Hedice". Züleyha ran away from Crimea to Kazan to marry Musa against her parents' consent, but because her parents did not listen to their words, this journey ended in disaster. One of the themes in Tatar Ingenuity Literature works is family upbringing. The importance of family upbringing and acting according to this upbringing were idealized in the works of the period. Musa is not one of the ideal characters encountered in the works of Ingenuity Literature. He received a good education, but this education is not used for an ideal. Money is at the forefront of Musa's decision to marry Hedice. In this respect, he appears in the novel as a selfish character who attaches importance to material values. One of the most important features of the novel is that it is one of the first examples of the detective-detective novel genre in Tatar Literature, which includes detective thriller elements. The novel called Uluf yaki Güzel Kız Hedice was first published in Kazan in 1887 as a Tatar text with Arabic letters.
