Notes
The work of the Albanian nationalist, poet and writer Fraşer/Fraşirli Na'îm Bey (1846-1900), which contains Persian poems written in a new style, unlike the tradition of divan poetry. In the article "Na'îm Bey, Fraşerli" in the Dictionary of Names of Turkish Literature, the introduction of the work reads: "This is also a translation of some poems in Persian. It was printed in Istanbul." If the sentence is used (Arslan 2020), all of the poems in the mentioned work are in Persian and there is no poem in another language. The titles and dates of writing of the poems, listed irregularly according to their writing dates, are as follows: Âsümân (1295), Zebân-ı Dil (1290), Nev-bahâr (1291), Şükûfe, Bülbül (1296), Sabr u Ümmîd (1295), Mâh (1297), Love, Philosophy, Zemistan (1294), ber-Mezâr-ı Hâherân u Dâderân, Âfitâb (1297), ber-Leb-i Cû (1293), Zemîn ü Merdüm (1298), Vedâ', Yetîm, Homeland, be-Kenâr-ı Deryâ (1292), ber-Meyyit-i Duhter-i Hod, Dîger, Dîger (1298), Hudâ (1292), ber-Türbet-i Hâher (1296), Dil-i Derdnâk ü Gamgîn (1299), Duhter-i Nâzenîn ü Hoş-reftâr (1289), der-Vefât-ı Birâder (1293). It is understood that these poems, which we have not seen to be the subject of a study in Turkey, are heartfelt and lyrical poems that carry clues from the poet's personal life. The work was published in 1301/1884 at the Mihran Printing House and consists of 67 pages. All texts in the work, which consists of 24 poems in total, are in Persian and all of them are written with aruz meter and a rhyme structure suitable for mesnevi verse form. A single meter, Remel Bahri's "fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün" pattern, is used in the poems, and most of the poems have a writing date at the end. For the author's biography, see.
