Notes
Lugaz magazine compiled by Mustafâ Sıdkî Efendi in the 18th century. The work is registered in the relevant library under the title Mecmû'a-i Eş'âr ve Lugaz. Some pages of the magazine, which has 406 pages in its entirety, are left blank. On page 2a, the name of the magazine and the year 1167/1753-54 are written. There is the seal of Ali Emiri Efendi in 3a. The chapter and poem titles in the magazine are written in red ink, while the text is written in black ink. The magazine, which starts with an Arabic preface, consists of three parts: In the first part (29b-223a), Arabic lugazes are included. This section has 30 chapters in itself. From the first chapter to the 29th chapter, there are Arabic lugazes in the order of alifba, in the 29th chapter there are lugazes titled erâciz, and in the 30th chapter there are lugazes titled "Ehâcî". The second section (223b-239a) is devoted to Persian lugazes. This section also has two chapters. In the first chapter there are verse lugazes, in the second chapter there are prose lugazes. In the third chapter (245a-400a) Turkish lugazes are recorded. There are 778 lugas here, 745 of which are in verse (245a-378a) and 33 in prose (388a-400a). Verse lugas are listed according to their meter. These; 1st chapter: fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün (287 lügaz), 2nd chapter: fe'ilâtün mefâ'ilün fe'ilün (165), 3rd chapter: mefâ'îlün mefâ'îlün fe'ûlün (103), 4th chapter: fe'ilâtün fe'ilâtün fe'ilün (75), 5th chapter: müfte'ilün müfte'ilün fâ'ilün (14), 6th chapter: fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün (41), 7th chapter: mefâ'îlün mefâ'îlün mefâ'îlün mefâ'îlün (17), 8th chapter: fe'ilâtün fe'ilâtün fe'ilâtün fe'ilün (24), 9th chapter: fe'ûlün fe'ûlün fe'ûlün fe'ûl (5), 10th chapter: mef'ûlü fâ'ilâtu mefâ'îlü fâ'ilün (10), followed by mefâ'ilün fe'ilâtün mefâ'ilün fe'ilün (1), müfte'ilün fâ'ilün müfte'ilün fâ'ilün (1), ahreb (1), müstef'ilün müstef'ilun müstef'ilün müstef'ilün (3), müfte'ilün mefâ'ilün müfte'ilün mefâ'ilün (1). There are 33 prose lugazes in the 11th chapter. The poet of 93 of the 778 Turkish lugazes in the magazine is known, and 176 of them are registered as "lâ-edrî". The poets with the most Turkish lyrics in the magazine are; They are Reşîd (120), Fennî (57), Ferdî (52), Nermî (48), Selîm (21), Sıdkî (21) and Nâbî (19). A doctorate on the journal (Alkan 2020) and -on some of its leaves- two master's degrees (Ayar) 2011, Okçuoğlu 2019) thesis study was carried out.
