Notes Persian work written by Hâmidî, using two Arabic fortune-telling books. The author's copy of the poem written in the name of Fatih Sultan Mehmed is in Raif Yelkenci (Ertaylan 1951: 29). Stating that Hâmidî wrote his own pseudonym and the title of the book in a couplet, Ertaylan gave the following information about the two Arabic sources the poet used: Sheikh Nâsirüddîn Ömer bin Ahmed al-Andalusî, known as Hatayî, wrote a 28-page booklet with 28 sections/boxes on each page.  Ebced put a letter in each section respectively. Thus, 588 letters were written on 28 pages. He put 28 questions in 28 sections. Each of these questions is associated with a letter. For example, it is necessary to take the first question from the alif part and subtract the answer from the alif part. Scholar and sheikh, the great scholar Ahmed-i Sebhî (Hatâyî is his follower) also has a booklet. Based on these works, both of which are in Arabic, Hâmidî wrote the Persian book called Câm-ı Sühan-gûyad. The poet's reason for writing this text, which he wrote for Persian speakers who do not enjoy Arabic, is to leave a legacy of Persian work and to enable the people to be inspired by it. Hâmidî edited Câm-ı Sühan-gûy by translating the 28 questions mentioned above into Persian and by preparing 4 questions, two in Arabic and two in Persian, for the letters "kef, je, çe and pe", which do not exist in Arabic. Ertaylan gave examples from the original text of the work (1949: 67-72, 79-82).
