Notes
It is the work of the great public philosopher and intellectual Ahi Evren, who organized 32 types of tradesmen with the Ahi Organization he founded, influenced our social, economic and political life, and was the pioneer of brotherhood, generosity, bravery, sacrifice, truth, honesty, morality, art and science, and presented it to Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I. Mikail Bayram gave important information on the work. According to Bayram; It was previously attributed to Sühreverdî Maktûl, Aynü'l-Kuzât-ı Hemedânî, Ibn-i Sînâ and other people, but as a result of detailed research, it was written by Ahi Evren, based on the introduction and hatime sections of the work and compared with other works of the author, and was written by I. He demonstrated with evidence that it was presented to Alaeddin Keykubad. The main reason why the work is attributed to the mentioned people is that the influence of these people on Ahi Evren's intellectual structure is clearly seen in this work (Bayram 1991: 68). As a result of the research carried out so far, two manuscript copies of Yezdan Şinaht, the only published work of Ahi Evren, have been found in Türkiye. These copies are not separate, but are included in the magazines. One of the copies, dated 731/1330, is in the Süleymaniye Library Hagia Sophia Section Nr. 4819 is between sheets 118b-138b. The other one is dated 720/1320 and is in the Süleymaniye Library Şehid Ali Pasha Section Nr. 2841 is between sheets 31a-45b. It is also said that Charles Rieu has a copy in the British Museum and that it is attributed to his work Aynü'l-Kuzât-ı Hemedânî (Bayram 1995: 99). It is clearly seen that the writing style and features of the copies in the Süleymaniye Library do not comply with the standard writing. In words with dotted letters, the dots of the letters are often not written. The reason for this is that it causes us to think about the possibility that the copies are drafts. After the work, basmala and praise, Hz. It begins with greetings to the prophet and his descendants. Praise continues after salat and salam. Although it is not clear to whom this praise is given, it can be thought that the person to whom the work is dedicated is praised. The author then touches upon the writing process of the work. Stating that he wrote this treatise in Persian, he mentions that no one among the scholars of the forerunners and contractors has been able to create something like it. The author, who said that he named the treatise Yezdân Şinâht, also touched upon the content of the work and said that the work consists of three main parts (Ahi Evren 731/1330: vr. 118b; Tanyıldız 2008: 1038). The First Part is about some of Allah's attributes, divine commands and works, and consists of seven parts. In the first part, he deals with the human subject and explains that a hundred treatises are needed to understand this subject well, and explains what he wants to say, sometimes with persuasion and sometimes with evidence. A person can sometimes turn to bad habits. He mentions that he needs to check this. In the second part, he focuses on the subject of perception. It is said that perception can be approached from four aspects. These; They are Idrak-i Basar, Idrak-i Imagination, Idrak-i Imagination and Idrak-i Reason. In the third part, it is mentioned that the infinity of the Universe and that its weight and boundaries cannot be measured. In the fourth part, focusing on the concepts of Necessary and Possible, it is touched upon the issue that if these are not clarified, it is not possible to clarify the issues related to the recognition of Allah and Divine knowledge. In the fifth part, the subject of God's unity and the absence of substance, corporeality and appearance in Him is discussed. The sixth part is about recognizing some of God's attributes. The last part is about recognizing the necessary actions of existence. In the second part, knowing the human soul; It is about discovering the person's situation after leaving the body, understanding his happiness and regret, and consists of eight parts. These; man's body in this world, the relationship of the human soul with the body, knowing the powers of the natural soul of man, keeping the temperament of the human soul alive, the characteristics of the human soul emerging from the sources, benefiting from the intelligence of the human soul; Subjects such as recognizing the meaning of the human soul and understanding the separation of the soul from the body in the meaning are explained. The third part is about prophecy, miracles, miracles and striving to bring the fruits of eternal happiness to God and consists of six parts. These; It is about understanding the holy soul and the concept of prophethood in the prophets, explaining how the sacred souls get their creation perfection from the ma'culats, how unseen events are known, the reality of the state of sleep and prophecy, the nature of miracles and miracles, the creation of the human body and the last part is about hatime and understanding the meaning and content of the treatise. After this part, the author praises the Supreme Council and explains that no one other than the Supreme Council can appreciate the value of this treatise, and bequeaths that this treatise should not be given to unworthy people and evildoers. He states that the Supreme Council cannot deviate from the path of Allah and the Prophet, and at the end of the work, he completes the treatise by praying that Allah will accept the wishes and facilitate eternal happiness and blessings, which are the highest point of all happiness (Tanyıldız 2008: 1039-1047; Ahi Evren 731/1330: vr. 119a-138b).
