Notes	It is a collection of Persian poems by Mahmud Pasha, one of the 15th century Ottoman statesmen who wrote poems under the pseudonym Adnî. Some parts of the work, which are not available individually, exist in separate sections in different copies. Accordingly, the poet has 3 odes and 47 ghazals written in Persian. Istanbul University, Turkish Manuscripts, nu. The copy registered in 1962 is between pages 32b-48b and contains 45 ghazals and 21 syllables. Nation Library, Ali Emiri, Verse, nu. Between pages 1b-15a of the copy found in 278, there are 3 odes and 25 ghazals of the poet. Ataturk University, nu. There are 2 odes and 10 ghazals between pages 41a-47b of the copy registered in MMK 10c-83 (Yücel 2002: 29). It is known that the poet's poems written in Persian are included in the Ahmet Akosman Library copy and the Egyptian copy (Kufacı 2006: 9-10). Gelibolulu Mustafa Âlî used the expression "tahsîne sezâ-vârdır" in his biographies for the Persian verse of Adnî, who apparently wrote parallels to Hâfız-ı Şirâzî's poems. (Uğur et al. 1997: 802). Meserret Diriöz focused on the Persian poems of the poet in her graduation thesis (1946) titled Adnî (Mahmud Paşa-yı Velî), His Life and Literary Personality. In this study, Diriöz compared the matla couplets of the nazires that Adnî wrote to Hâfız-ı Şirâzî with the poems of Hâfız. In addition, he compared a verse written by the poet to the Iranian ode poet Zahîr-i Fâryâbî and expressed the opinion that Mahmûd Pasha's ode was stronger than Fâryâbî's (Diriöz cited in Kufacı 2006: 8).
