Notes	Muhyî-i Gülşenî's Arabic prose commentary on the incident known as the "Hadith of Gabriel". Although the copyright date of the work is unknown, it is estimated that it was written after this date because there are references to Hedyü'l-Haremeyn, completed by the same author in 978/1570 (Koç 2005: 48). The subject of the hadith discussed in this commentary is as follows: Angel of Revelation Gabriel, Hz. While Muhammad is with people, he comes in human form and greets them, unrecognizable to those present. Gabriel asks questions about Islam, faith, goodness and the time of the apocalypse, and these questions are about Hz. Answered by Muhammad. This event is included in the hadith literature as the "Hadith of Gabriel". This hadith is Hz. Ömer, İbn Ömer, Ebû Hurayre, Ebû Zer, Enes b. Malik, Ibn Abbas, Ibn Mes'ud, Ebû Âmir, Cerîr b. Abdullah, Umeyr b. It is known that it was narrated by companions such as Qatada (Tatlı 2010: 67, 70). In Muhyî-i Gülşenî's analysis of this hadith, Seyyid Yahyâ-yı Şirvânî (d. 870/1466), Ömer Rûşenî (d. 892/1487), İbrahim-i Gülşenî (d. 940/1534) and Ahmed Hayâlî (d. 977/1570) (Koç 2005: 48). No independent study has been carried out on the work. This commentary is also included among the pages 207b-213a of a magazine (nr. 7128) in the Egyptian Khedîviyye Library, which also contains many of Muhyî's works.
