Notes	A work containing Persian poems by Akovalızâde Ahmed Hâtem (d. 27 Rebîü’l-âhir 1168 / 10 February 1755). The poet's Dîvân was compiled together with his poems in Turkish, Arabic and Persian. In the Persian Dîvânçek part, there are 2 odes, one of which is 1 naat consisting of 59 couplets, the other is a 27-couplet ode written in praise of Sultan Mahmud Khan, 29 ghazals, 4 history poems in stanza form and 4 syllabus sections. The poems in Persian Dîvânçe contain mystical connotations in both superficial and deep structures. Although the verses that make up the couplets seem to be simply constructed, they have a semantically layered structure. For this reason, the poetic interpretation on the surface appears to be inversely proportional to the various implications and messages in the deep structure. It can be said that Hâtem is a poet of deep emotions and intense expression in his Persian poems (Gačanin 2011b: 322). 19 manuscript copies of Hâtem's Dîvân have been identified in the libraries of Turkey, Germany and Egypt, and there is also a lithographed copy (Istanbul 1284) (Varışoğlu 1997: 188-195). The poet's Persian Dîvânçe was published by Sabaheta Gačanin in Frankfurt (2011), based on the copy registered in the Istanbul University Library, number TY 2823. Additionally, in Varışoğlu's thesis, the text of Arabic and Persian poems is given along with the critical text of the Turkish Dîvân (1997: 415-469).
