Notes	It is a translated work written in Persian by İdrîs-i Bitlîsî in the type of forty hadiths. The work is also known as Tercüme-i Çehel (Çihel) Hadis (Aksoy 2021: 20; Dikici 2019: 269) and consists of 52 leaves. The exact date of copyright or copying of the work is not known. Based on his life story, it is a strong possibility that Idrîs-i Bitlîsî wrote his forty hadith-type works in the last years of his life. However, considering that the hadiths he listened to from his father were included in the work, it can be thought that the author wrote this work in his youth or adulthood. Orhan Başaran; Three different forty books belonging to Bitlisî, including Terceme ve Tefsîr-i Hadîs-i Erba'în, Terceme ve Nazm-ı Hadîs-i Erba'în and Hadis-i Erba'în Tercümesi. He mentioned the hadith book. The archive information of the first of these works overlaps with the work we examined. Two copies of the work have been identified in the Süleymaniye Library (Başaran 2000: 31-32). In his book, Bitlîsî translated and annotated 40 hadiths that he listened to from his father Mevlânâ Hüsâmeddîn Alî Bitlisî (Akçay, 2021). After the Arabic text of the hadiths was given, a commentary was made along with the Persian prose translation of the hadith, and then a Persian verse text was given about the relevant hadiths (Başaran 2000: 31-32). The first 20 of the authentic hadiths in the work are about knowledge of Allah, belief, faith, hope of heaven, etc. is about. Others include moral issues as well as human deeds and faculties (Genç 2007: XXI-XXII; Kaska 2020: 152). In some studies, it has been determined that there is confusion in information about the works written by Idrîs-i Bitlîsî in the forty hadith genre. Although there are some studies that indirectly mention the work, the critical text of Terceme and Nazm-ı Hadîs-i Erba'în has not been prepared yet. For the biography of the translator, see.
