Notes	A work written to explain the difficult words in the Mesnevi of Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî (d. 672/1273). Süleymaniye Library, Nafiz Paşa, no. It was recorded as Müşkilât-ı Mesnevi on the cover page of the 1491 copy. Two separate types of literature have emerged on the difficult couplets (Müşkilât-ı Mesnevî) and ambiguous words (Lügât-ı Mesnevi) in Mesnevi. This work by Abdülmecid Sivâsî is a Mesnevî dictionary written in Persian, explaining the obscure Arabic and Persian words in Mesnevi. In the Preface of the work, there are the following statements about the reason and method of writing: “These few words are from the Mesnevi dictionaries and spiritual statements and are the illumination of darkness, delusion, doubt, imagination, form and delusion. It was gathered together after consideration and discussion by several dervishes. It was discussed from beginning to end, and obscure Arabic, Persian and Pahlavi words were brought together by finding reliable sources. These collections were arranged in twenty-eight chapters, taking into account the last letters of the words, until the errors that emerged, with the permission of Allah, reached the desired level, so that the desired result could be achieved easily.” (vr. 1a) On the cover page of the work, it is written: "They have started the last letter of this book, and they have divided the first letter and completed twenty-eight chapters in each chapter, and they have made the Arabic and Persian words one last chapter in each chapter." As stated in these records, as a method in the work, obscure Arabic and Persian words selected from Mesnevi were divided into twenty-eight chapters according to their last letters, and these chapters were divided into chapters in alphabetical order according to the first letter of the word and their Persian equivalents were given. A copy of the work has been identified (Süleymaniye Library, Nafiz Pasha, nr. 1491) This copy It was copied in 1216/1801 and consists of seventy-two leaves.
