Notes The work containing the interpretation of el-Cendî's commentary on İbnü'l-Arabî's work named Fusûsü'l-Hikem', made by Yazıcıoğlu Mehmed Efendi. The name of the work can be translated as "The Last Commentary of Füsûsü'l-Hikem". Yazıcıoğlu wrote this ta'lîkāt based on a dream he had in the last years of his life (Uzun 2013: 362, 363), (Alkan 2017: 218). The author built Füsûs within the framework of the doctrine of unity of existence. He often bases his explanations on verses and hadiths. The work also touches upon how the issues are discussed among different scholars and sects; from many works in the fields of theology, tafsir and mysticism; Direct transfers were also made from holy books such as the Torah, Psalms and Bible (Çakmaktaş 2021: 166-185). It consists of three parts: introduction, temhid and kasîde-i Rabbâniyye. The work begins with a broad introduction. Alkan (2017: 219). In the introduction section, the key concepts and propositions of Ibn Arabi's metaphysics are explained. Again, in this section, Sufism classics were used and quotations were made from these works. After the introduction comes the temhid section. This chapter consists of fourteen chapters. In these parts, the most important issues of Sufi metaphysics such as absolute existence, God's demand for emergence, the relationship between knowledge and knowledge, divine names, the constant existence, unity and multiplicity are discussed. Again, in this section, it is seen that the source, scope, purpose, subject, levels of existence and human issues of the science of Sufism are extensively emphasized (Çakmaktaş 2021:166-185). The third part of the work, Kasîde-i Rabbâniyye, was added later by Yazıcıoğlu Mehmed. This section consists of sixty-three couplets. It is written in Arabic form (Uzun 2013: 362, 363). Like the work, the commentary is also in Arabic and has a heavy language. It appeals to highly educated people who are familiar with Sufi subjects and who know Arabic well. The issues discussed are sometimes explained in a question-answer style, in accordance with the classical writing tradition. (Çakmaktaş 2021: 166-185). The commentary, which contains important information about the metaphysics of Ibn al-Arabi, is a helpful guide in understanding the idea of unity of existence. Reading Fusus al-Hikem is important in terms of explaining the incomprehensible points and giving answers to controversial issues in the work. Thus, Yazıcıoğlu contributed to the continuation of the Fusûsü'l-Hikemşerh tradition and presented an important example of the tradition of writing the introduction to the Fusûsü'l-Hikemşerh (Çakşmataş 2021: 166-185). Some copies of the work are available. These copies; It is recorded in the Topkapı Palace Museum Library, Nuruosmaniye Library, Süleymaniye Library (Topkapı Palace Museum Library, III. Ahmed, nr. 1616; Nuruosmaniye Library, nr. 2466; Süleymaniye Library, Esad Efendi, nr. 175, Pertev Paşa, nr. 293, Lala İsmail, nr. 162/13) (Uzun 2013: 362, 363). This commentary; It was translated into Turkish by Ahmed Bîcân, brother of Yazıcıoğlu Mehmed Efendi, under the same name, with various additions. With the additions of Ahmed Bîcân, a very voluminous work emerged (Çakmaktaş 2021: 166-185). The work was purified from the parts that might be difficult for the reader in terms of language and content and was simplified by Bahâîzâde Abdürrahim en-Nakşibendî with the book Lübb-i Müntehâ-yı Fusûsismi (Alkan 2017: 221).
