Notes
The work whose full name is Mecmûatü'l-İnsâniye fî Mârifeti'l-Vahdâniyye. It is a voluminous book. İbrahim Hakkı says that he compiled this work from one hundred and forty books in three languages. While there are 140 books in the Islamic encyclopedia, 160 books are mentioned in Amil Çelebioğlu. The work was completed in 1763. It is a work written in the form of an anthology. The poems selected from Arabic, Persian and Turkish were written in a mystical and didactic style (Külekçi 2002: 39). However, examples of a literary nature are not few (Çelebioğlu 1988: 33). A copy of the work is registered in the Suleymaniye Library. The section containing Arabic poems, which constitutes the first part (approx. 2 a _ 9b), was prepared using twenty Arabic books. In this section, there are the Arabic verse translation of the "Fatlubni" surah in the Psalms, the odes and muhammes of Cüneyd-i Bağdadî, Zeynelabidin etc. The second part, which is the largest part of the work, contains Persian poems (c. iAb - 287b). In this section: Gazneli Hakim Senit, Feridüddin-i Attar, Mevlana, Şâhidî, Şeyh Uzletî, Hâfız, Mağribî, Hakanî, Nizamî, Hüsrev, Enverî, Feyyaz, Hilâlî, Molla Câmî, Hayâlî, Hüseyin Vâiz Kâşifî, Ömer Selected pieces from the divans, masnavis and various works of Hayyam, Akşemseddin etc. are included. The third part consists of Turkish poems (f. 288b. 340a). In this section: Fuzûlî's Divan, Leyli and Macnun, Hamdullah Hamdi's Yusuf and Zeliha, Yunus Emre's, Taşlıcalı Yahya's Gencîne-i Râzve Şah u Geda, Niyazi-i Mısrî's Divan, Süleyman Çelebi's Mevlid, Fehim's Divan, Nef'î, NabiDivanve masnavis etc. poems are included. While making these choices, İbrahim Hakkı paid attention not only to the poets and content, but also to their formal characteristics. His works in this genre are important because they show that he has seen and even studied hundreds of works on various subjects in three languages, and they also help reveal his scientific, cultural and literary level (Çelebioğlu 1988: 33-34-35). The most comprehensive study on this work is Amil Çelebioğlu's book Erzurumlu İbrahim Hakkı (1988) and Numan Külekçi's book Erzurumlu İbrahim Hakkı (2002). Additionally, information about this work is mentioned in the article İbrahim Hakkı Erzurumî written by Mustafa Çağrıcı in the Islamic encyclopedia.
