Notes Tale written by Ahmed ibn Maksudi. Although there is no historical information on it, it is most likely that it dates back to the 19th century. The work, which is in prose, contains some verse parts. The work, consisting of 85 leaves, has vowels. 06 Mill in Ankara National Library. Yz. Many manuscript copies of Hikâye-i Şahmeran, registered with number A 8102, registered under different names such as Câmesab-nâme or Câmasb-nâme, are available in different libraries. In Hikâye-i Şahmeran, which has the feature of a frame tale; There are two main stories within the Story of Câmesab, namely the Story of Belkıya and the Story of Cihan Şâh. In the introduction part of the manuscript, the frame tales in the work are given respectively as follows: Hikâye-i Belkıya, Hikâye-i İkab, Hikâye-i Şahsahra, Hikâye-i Kûh-ı Kâf, Hikâye-i Cihanşah, Hikâye-i Şah-ı Murg, Hikâye-i Dûhter Şah-ı Peri, Hikâye-i Kal'a-ı Gevhernigîn, Hikâye-i Şemsabanû, Hikâye-i Keygâl-i Hindî, Hikâye-i Belkıya When He Came to Egypt, Hikâye-i Şâh-ı Merân. The main title of the tale is Hikâye-yi Şâh-ı mârân and it begins with Bismillah. It continues with praise to the Lord of the worlds and blessings and peace upon Muhammad and his family. It talks about the author's purpose in writing the book. Hz. From the incident of Moses talking to God on Mount Tur and Hz. After praising Muhammad, the Kalima Shahadah takes place and the tale begins. The stories of Belkıya and Cihan Shah are also told within the story of Camesab. The episodes of Camesab's tale are as follows: The conversation between Hazrat Danyal and Gabriel, Hz. Realizing that Danyal was going to die and handing over the papers in his hand to his wife, his advice to his wife and his death, the birth of Danyal's son, naming the boy, giving Camesab to the teacher when he turned seven, Camesab's marriage, Camesab starting work, bringing wood from the forest, finding the honey well by chance, his friends' betrayal and leaving him in the well, Camesab's mother being given the bad news that her son was dead, Camesab being in the well. finding himself in Shahmeran's underground mansion and meeting Shahmeran and telling him what he went through, Shahmeran telling Camesab the stories of Belkıya and Cihân Shah, Camesab asking Shahmeran for permission to go to his own world, Shahmeran leaving him on the condition of not going to the bath, Camesab going to his mother and his friends who betrayed him when he got out of the well, his friends wanting to take him to the bath but Camesab's refusal to do so because he had promised Shahmeran, the sultan of the country at that time, Key Hüsrev, falling ill and his vizier Şemhur saying that Shahmeran was necessary for the sultan's recovery, everyone in the country bathing in the bath to identify the person who saw Shahmeran, the sultan's men forcibly taking Camesab to the bath, Camesab touching his body with water in the bath stating that he had seen Shahmeran. the reveal of his engagement, the sultan's men taking him to the palace, vizier Şemhur trying to persuade Camesab to heal the sultan Keyhüsrev, Camesab being tortured when he did not tell Shahmeran's location, Camesab not being able to withstand the torture telling Shahmeran's location, Shahmeran reproaching Camesab for not keeping his word, Camesab expressing his regret and sadness, Shahmeran He believed in Camesab's sincerity and gave him advice while on the road, he followed his advice when they reached the palace, Shahmeran died, the vizier died, Camesab brought the news of vizier Shamhur's death to sultan Keyhüsrev and the sultan recovered, the sultan made Camesab vizier, Camesab suddenly became equipped with wisdom while he knew nothing, and as time passed, Camesab's death (Çakır 2011: 126-127). A master's thesis was prepared by Emine Çakır in 2011 on Hikâye-i Şahmeran. Çakır, in his work, with this copy called Hikâye-i Şahmeran, is in the National Library, archive number 06 Mil. Yz. A 8491 manuscript called Câmesb-Nâme, the author of which is unknown, and T.B.M.M. He translated the copy of Abdî's Câmesb-nâme, which has archive number 06 TBMM LD 1465 in his library, into modern Turkish and compared it in terms of fairy tale motifs.
