Notes Moral, mystical Arabic ode of Sheikh Cemâleddîn İshak Efendi from Karaman, known as Cemâl Halîfe. This ode, which is called Kasîdetü'l-Hâ'iyye because the rhyme letter is "hâ", is also known as Kasîde-i Muhrika. Unlike classical odes, the poem, consisting only of nasib and prayer sections, has 43 couplets and is written in the aruz "fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilâtün fâ'ilün" pattern (Donuk 2016: 25; Aydın et al. 2021: 332-333). The general content of the work is the mortality of the world, getting away from bad deeds and virtue. It is about the necessity of owning one. From the first couplet of the ode, it is emphasized that the world is not a comfortable place, but a prison for believers, and the same theme repeats with different comparisons in each couplet. After the 31st couplet, the author prays to God to forgive the sins of both himself and the believers and Hz. He ends the ode with blessings and prayers to the Prophet. Although the reason for writing the ode is not given by its author in the original text, some narrations on the subject are conveyed in the commentaries made on the ode. According to these narrations, it is recorded that Cemâlî's reason for writing the text was to condemn the bad behavior of Hajjaj (d. 714) and Yazîd (d. 683) and to advise the public on the morality of Ibn Ömer (d. 693). Apart from this, in the commentaries, the reason why this work is called Kaside-i Muhrika; It is said that after Cemâlî wrote the first couplet, Ibn Ömer (d. 693) sighed with love and the fire of his sigh burned the paper on which the couplet was written (Coşkun 2019: 17-18). Information in the sources about the commentators of the commentaries made on the ode is contradictory. The commentators whose names are mentioned are: Molla Hüsrev (d. 1480), Hânîzâde Seyyid İbrâhim Hurrem (d. 1824) and Tokat Mufti Abdurrahmân bin Ahmed (d. ?). There are two article studies on the text and analysis of the work, of which four copies have been identified in the manuscript libraries (Donuk 2016; Aydın et al.). 2021).For the poet's biography, see.
