Notes	Nakhchivani, one of the important commentators and religious scholars of his age, wrote religious-sufistic works. Tercüme-i Nakş-i Fusûs or Hâşiye alâ Fusûsu'l-Hikem is a postscript written in Persian to Muhyiddin Arabî's Fusûsu'l-Hikem. This work and many works attributed to Nimetullah Nakhçıvânî are actually the works of Ni'metullah-ı Veliyy-i Kirmânî. Regarding the subject, Musakhanov, in his article titled "Abdülbâkî Turan "Father Ni'metullah Nakhçıvânî and el-Fevâtihü'l-İllâhiyye ve'l-Mefâtihu'l-Gaybiyye Named Interpretation", uses Keşfü'z-Zünûn (C.II, 1971: 1263) as the source. He attributes the Commentary of Fusûsu'l-Hikem to Nakhchivânî, however, in the mentioned page in Keşfu'z-Zünûn, only "Şerhu Seyyid Ni'metullah" is mentioned, which is known as Ni'metullah-ı, who is known as "a sayyid from the lineage of Ca'fer es-Sâdık". It is possible that it is Velî. Kâtib Çelebi describes Nakhchivani's works in Keşfu'z-Zünûn as "Şeyh Baba Ni'metullah b. He included it in his work under the name "Mahmûd en-Nahçıvânî" (2011: 19-20). Due to the similarity of names, the works of the two authors are confused in the sources. However, Ni'metullah-ı Veliyy-i Kirmânî, who has hundreds of works and Sufi treatises, is a sayyid, and this issue is particularly emphasized as "Şerhu Seyyid Ni'metullah" in Keşfü'z-Zünûn (V. II, 1971: 1263). Tercüme-i Nakş-ı Fusûs or Hâşiye ala Fusûsu'l-Hikem is a commentary and translation of Ibn Arabi's important work, which he wrote while he was in Damascus in 1230. The original work is divided into twenty-seven chapters based on the wisdom of each of the twenty-seven prophets. The work begins with Prophet Adam and ends with Prophet Muhammad. "Many commentaries and refutations have been written on Fusûsu'l-Hikem, which has a very enigmatic structure in terms of language as well as the issues it deals with being difficult to understand. It is difficult to come across another work in the history of Islam on which discussions for and against are discussed as much as this book. Moreover, since it is almost impossible to understand Fusûsu'l-Hikem without the help of a commentary, more than a hundred commentaries have been written so far" (Kılıç 1996: 231-232).
