Notes	A compilation of Üsküdarlı Sâfî's collection containing selections from Saʻdî's works named Gülistân and Bûstan to be taught at the Military Junior High School. The work begins with the first story in the "Morals of the Dervishes" section of the second chapter of Gülistan. 2 from the first part of EserdeGülistân; 10 in verse, two of the second part; 6 from the third part; 7 from the fourth part; 2 from the sixth episode; There are a total of 32 stories, 3 from the seventh chapter and 2 from the eighth chapter. On the twenty-two, twenty-three and twenty-fourth pages of the work, one story from the second, fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth chapters of Bustan is included. In the work, Turkish information about the pronunciation and meaning of some words of Persian stories and poems and the characteristics of phrases is given with footnotes. In some sections of the work, Sâfî practically demonstrated the information he conveyed in his grammar lessons and in his book, on the stories he chose. The selections made from Saʻdî's two works in the work are mostly about being a righteous person. The texts were consciously chosen to help students develop good manners while gaining the habit of reading. The work was printed in Istanbul by Kasbar Printing House in 1308/1890-91. The title of the work reads: Tedrisât-ı Rüşdiye Library, the sixteenth edition. The author is recorded in the work as the author Çiçek Pazar Rüşdiyesi and the Farsi teacher Safi. The work is 25 pages. Sâfî from Üsküdar is listed on the cover not as the author of the work, but as the author who prepared a selection from the works.
