Ahundzade wrote The Chemist, Monsieur Jordan and The Vizier of the Lankaran Khan in 1850, Hırs-i Guldurbasan in 1852, Hacı Gara in 1853, Murafie Deputies in 1855, and Deceived Kevâkib in 1857. In the story of Deceived Kevâkibadlı; One day, Shah Abbas is told that Merrik and Scorpion will come close to each other in the sky, and that this rapprochement will bring a great disaster to Iran and its shah. In order to prevent harm to the shah, he is replaced by a man who will suffer from these disasters, and the events that occur are told. Yavuz Akpınar, in his doctoral thesis titled Mirza Feth-Ali Ahund-zâde (In All Its Aspects); He says that Akhundzade mostly used the life of the Azerbaijani people in the early 19th century as the subject of his comedies and chose Azerbaijan as the location of the events depicted. Akpınar states that the characters portrayed by Ahundzade in his comedies are natural, belonging to a certain environment, and that these characters are portrayed not with their psychological depth, but as easy-to-understand types. He also adds that in his plays where social satire predominates, there are generally two characters, positive and negative, and that stereotypical characters are not encountered in these comedies. Akpınar states that these comedies entertain the public while making them think and aiming to educate them; the Chemist, Monsieur Jordan, Guldurbasan and Lankaran comedies are complete comedies of morals; However, he states that Hacı Kara has a character comedy, while Murafaa Deputies has a more dramatic style. The language used in Akhundzade's Temsilâ is a language that reflects the folk culture of Azerbaijan, just like the natural types created in his comedies. Proverbs, idioms and curses are frequently used in his comedies. Mirza Fethali Ahundzade's Temsilât had a great impact in regions such as Iran, Russia and Europe from the moment it was published, and it quickly began to be translated and staged. So much so that Yavuz Akpınar stated that the printing of Temsilât in Persian was considered the starting point of the birth and development of modern theater in Iran. Again, Akpınar gave information about the publication of comedies in his book Comedies, which he published in Turkish. Accordingly; The first publications about Akhundzade and his works in Western Europe were made in Germany, based on Russian texts. The first translation made in Europe, using the Persian publication of Temsilât, was published in London by W. Haggard and G. Le Strange in 1882, with the title The Vazir of Lankoran. The first translation in France was published by Barbier de Meynar in Les Les in 1883. It was published under the name Procureurs (Murafie Deputies), and in 1886, the comedies Murafie Deputies, Hırs-ı Guldurbasan and Kimyager were translated by Stanislav Gvyard together with Meynar. In addition, these comedies were published with their Persian texts in Paris under the name Trois Comedies Françes…, and in 1889, Adolp Wahramund published Monsieur Jordan in Vienna, and D. Lobeel and Wittman published The Vizier of the Lankaran Khan in German in Leipzig. The last publication in Europe was Comedies, published in French by UNECO in Paris in 1967. Despite this interest in Europe, Ahundzade's comedies were not sufficiently introduced in Turkey, only the comedy titled Veziria of the Lankaran Khan was translated from German into Turkish by Kurşunluzade Raşit under the title Lengeran Veziria and was published in Istanbul in 1932. A criticism of Ahmet Caferoğlu about this translation has been published. For the author's biography, see. "Mirza Fethali Ahund-zâde".Turkish Literature Names Dictionary.
