Notes The religious-mystical work written by Prince Korkut in 1508, when he left his duty as the sanjak principality of Teke province and retired to Antalya Castle (Emecen 2002: 207). The full name of the work is Da'vetü'n-Nefsi't-Tâlihâ ilâ A'mâli's-Sâlihâ bi-Ayâti'z-Zâhire ve'l-Beyyinâti'l-Bâhire (The book of invitation to good deeds with clear verses and superior evidence). The only copy of the work is in Süleymaniye Library, Hagia Sophia section, number 1763. It is registered with the name Kitabü'l-Harîmî fi't-tasavvuf, in 262 leaves, 19 lines, in naskh calligraphy. Although the language of the work is Arabic and prose, there are also verse parts in Anatolian Turkish and Persian. Kitabu fi't-Tasavvufilmi draws attention as it is a prose work written by a prince with a high personality. Kitabu fi't-Tasavuft is a compilation of subjects related to fiqh, kalam, tafsir and hadith sciences, especially Sufism, and the customary traditions of the period. It is a versatile work that deals with political problems and is enriched with poems about Sufi love. Eser Korkut's father was II. It begins with a letter addressed to Bayezid and ends with lines in which he states that his desire to withdraw from the governorship involves religious-mystical concerns rather than personal reasons. The basic idea of Kitâbu fi't-Tasavvuf is Prince Korkut's request to relinquish the emirate. Prince Korkut begins his work with a classification in which he states the reasons for leaving the emirate. These reasons are; The reason for this is that the emirate prevents compliance with the shariah, maintains closeness with Allah and maintains peace of mind, causes injustice, and harm is inevitable in the emirate. There are no independent subject headings in the book other than the classification in question. The topics covered throughout the book are in the nature of commentary on these five reasons, made in the light of the data of tafsir, hadith, kalam, fiqh and Sufism. The most striking aspect of the work is that it has rich content and resources that are so diverse that they cannot be allocated to just one science. In Kitabu fi't-Tasavvuf, 111 book titles are mentioned, most of which are basic Islamic sources. In the work, the main subjects of which are Sufism, the concept of abandoning masiva is discussed first. Based on the works of Prince Korkut Gazali and Suhrawardi, he bases his desire to withdraw from the emirate with the concepts of poverty, solitude, repentance, attraction, divine conversation and love. In the work, the nature of dhikr, the types of hawâtir, the terminologies of seyr u sulûk such as fenâ-bekā, the field of sufism, and the subjects that will confront preachers and Sufis a century later (inhina, Hızır, İbnü'l-Arabi, karamet, ittihad) are discussed with extensive quotations. Prince Korkut takes the side of the Sufis in these discussions and follows a conciliatory style. Kitabu fi't-Tasavvufta draws attention with the fact that it includes subjects that will be included in the work's politics genre, as well as the subjects of Sufism, fiqh and theology. Issues such as the qualifications required to be a state nobleman, being a judge, subasi, castration, the provisions of emirs for hunting and going on expeditions, spoils and fellahahs, the provision of gifts, resignation from office, the names and job descriptions of madrasah members are discussed in detail in the work. Prince Korkut sometimes makes observations about the shortcomings of the period in which he lived and provides information about the historical events of the period. II. His thoughts about Murad's abdication, his discomfort with the fact that jurists and judges were mentioned with bribes, as well as their refusal to leave the sultan's gates, are some of the opinions he shared with the reader. Abdullah Vahdi Kanatsız has a master's thesis on the work (2013). More than one scientific article has been written about the fiqh, tafsir, mysticism and period criticism in the work.
