Notes The author's work, written in Arabic in catechism style, explains the virtues of Sufi morality regarding worship, family life and social life. The work is around thirty or forty pages on average; It is the treatise with the most numerous and widespread manuscript copies. For this article, the copy recorded in Köprülü Library Fazıl Ahmed Pasha number 1583/3 (h.1016, vr. 37) is taken as basis. Câmiu'l-fazâil consists of three sections: First Section. In this section, the virtues of people in general and Muslims in particular are included under the title of the virtues of knowledge, deeds and transactions. Knowledge, learning and teaching; The virtues of worship and deeds such as prayer, fasting, alms and pilgrimage are explained. Then, the subject of human rights and responsibilities in social life; Attention is drawn to the virtues of marriage and the rights and duties of husband and wife towards each other. In the family, parents' children; The rights, responsibilities and duties of children towards their parents and the rights of relatives, neighbors, other people and animals are mentioned. While talking about public rights, the disasters of the tongue, the ugliness of lying, backbiting, nemîme and similar moral weaknesses are explained. In the Second Part, the bad habits of the soul and the ways to improve them are shown. First, the virtue of humility; The ugliness of arrogance and extremeness is explained. Then, the virtue of sincerity and the ugliness of hypocrisy are expressed. Thirdly, the virtue of knowledge and gentleness and the ugliness of anger are evaluated. Fourthly, the virtue of loving and the evil of envy and jealousy are mentioned. Fifthly, the virtue of contentment and the ugliness of ambition are mentioned. Finally, attention is drawn to the vices of hubb-i riyasa, the desire for rank and fame, and the virtues of being an ordinary and qualified person. After knowing the self, the ways of attaining divine knowledge and tawhîd are explained. For this reason, emphasis is placed on being attached to a perfect sheikh with whom the heart warms, turning to God with repentance and obedience, and being careful to comply with the sunnah. It emphasizes the necessity of being careful about hunger and eating less, without flattering the people of the world, preferring to be silent and talking less, being busy with the remembrance of God, continuing to be in seclusion and not telling anyone else about the dreams and realities. First, the virtue of divine knowledge is explained, then the virtue of divine monotheism. During Suluk, emphasis is placed on the effect of the dhikr of Tawhid on the heart. The work resembles Gazzali's work titled Ihyâü ulûmi'd-dînad in terms of its content and style, and it can even be said that it is a summary of it. The author summarized the virtues of knowledge, deeds and transactions from Ihyâ. This situation becomes obvious when the two works are placed side by side and compared. Other virtue topics in the work are generally explained with the source of Ihya. The author states that he has benefited from a work called Muhtasâru'l-ihyâ, without mentioning the author's name. However, since Ihyâ has many summaries, it is difficult to determine which author it belongs to. The second most important source of the work is Şehâbeddin es-Sühreverdî's Avârifü'l-maârif. In matters of Sufism and jurisprudence, the author also states that he benefited from Ebû Tâlib el-Mekkî's work Kutü'l-kulûbadlı. Câmiu'l-fazâil was translated by M. Muizzüddin Celvetî, one of Hüdâyî's disciples. Translated copies Süleymaniye-Mihrişah Sultan 253; H. Selimağa – Hüdâyî is located at number 593. It was translated and published by H. Kâmil Yılmaz under the title İlim-Amel Seyr u Sülûk, together with Câmiu'l-fazâilmüelli's work titled Miftâhü's-salâta (Istanbul 1988, 2005).
