Notes	Persian commentary written by İdrîs-i Bitlisî on İbnü'l-Fâriz's (d. 632/1235) poem called Hamriyye. One of the works, completed in 909/1503, is in the Süleymaniye Manuscript Library, Hagia Sophia Collection, no. 4092/1, the other one is Fatih Millet Library, Ali Emiri, Persian nu. There are two copies, one in 134. The work, written in a language decorated with words and metaphors appropriate to the content of the Hamriyye ode, consists of a long introduction and commentary section. After the bismillah and praise chapter, which contains verses and Persian poems of most authors, a na't written in mesnevi verse and a section explaining the reason for the annotation of the Hamriyye Kasidesi are included. Then comes a twenty-couplet eulogy written in mesnevi verse, and it is understood from the information here that the work was presented to Prince Ahmed (d.919/1513). Then, some preliminary information deemed necessary for the commentary of the ode was given under the title "Mukaddimetü'r-Risâle". According to Bitlisî, there are three ways to understand a poem belonging to the Melami group: First, by being familiar with some concepts belonging to the connoisseurs of tawhid and wisdom; Secondly, from purifying the heart from the doubt of denial about love drunks; The third is to clean the heart mirror from the rust of separation with the visal glass. Since this will only be possible by understanding "true love", the subject is discussed under three headings called "parliament". In the first assembly, the attributes and parts of love (personal love, adjective love, asma'i love, effective love and present love); After the definition of affection was made in the second parliament, the different meanings of words such as love, affection, patience, enthusiasm and inclination, which indicate the same meaning, depending on where they are used; In the third assembly, the benefits and characteristics of conversation were emphasized. In "Tekmîletü'l-Mukaddime", the Sufi meanings of concepts such as syrup, wine, müdâme and sekr, which cause misunderstanding among the public, are explained. The ode is annotated in couplets. When necessary, the morphological features of the words were discussed and explanations regarding the syntax were made. Where appropriate, the literary arts in the couplets were emphasized and the apparent meaning of the couplets was touched upon. The parts that constitute the basis of the commentary are Sufi interpretations and explanations. During the commentary, many verses, hadiths, polite words and Arabic and Persian poems were used. An article on the work was published (Başaran 2004). This work of İdrîs-i Bitlisî was also included in the doctoral thesis prepared on the commentaries on İbnü'l-Fârız's Hamriyye Kasidesi (İnce 2018).
