Notes Ayşe İsmet Teymûrî's work containing Arabic poems. Hilyetü't-Tırâz (Elaborated Ornaments), which is the Arabic Divan of Ayşe Teymûrî, contains a prose introduction at the beginning and consists of 5 main sections. These are as follows: Family Poems (he talks about himself, his children and his relatives), Eulogy and Elegy Poems, Ghazals, Moral Poems, Religious Poems (Erbaş 2017: 45). There is also a eulogy about the Egyptian Khedive Tevfik Pasha, one of the figures he praised in Hilyetü't-Tırâz, which he wrote in Turkish and put in his Turkish Divan. He wrote the Turkish eulogy on the occasion of Tevfik Pasha's ascension. The most striking points in Ayşe Teymûrî's Arabic Divan, Hilyetü't-Tırâz, are her commitment to the Holy Quran and Islamic values and her emphasis on the characteristics of the Muslim woman. The work begins with the definition of a new Islamic woman, in which Ayşe adheres to the headscarf, noble ideas and extraordinary abilities. When Ayşe talks about most of the people of the harem, she challenges the modern propaganda that states that the poetry writing of the people of the harem played an important role in the history of Islam. The fact that Ayşe Teymûrî, who knew Elsine-i selâse enough to write works in these languages, used the three languages of Islam (Arabic, Persian and Turkish) in her works is a feature that differentiates her. He produced independent works in these languages, especially Arabic and Turkish. Ayşe Teymûrî's literary approaches, including her Arabic Divan Hilyetü't-Tırâz, were evaluated in her master's thesis titled "Aişe Teymur's Place in Modern Poetry" prepared by Neşe Erbaş (2019). For the poet's biography, see. “Ayşe İsmet Teymûrî”. Turkish Literature Names Dictionary.
