Notes	Arabic-Persian-Turkish verse dictionary of Antepli Hasan Aynî. The name of the work indicates the date of writing (1236/1821) in abjad calculation. In the work, after the 9-page introduction, there is a 100-page text section. The 9 continents in the introduction section; It includes the unity of Allah, praise of the Prophet and the sultan, brief information about Aynî's life, the advice he gave to his son, and explanations about the organization and text of the book. The work, which is arranged according to a certain order, has a stanza on each page and 13 couplets in each stanza. The rhymes of the stanzas are arranged alphabetically and there are 19 rhymes with "elif"; There are three stanzas (81 in total) that rhyme with each of the remaining 27 letters. At the beginning of each stanza - except for 13 couplets - there is a verse in Arabic or Persian. This verse; It indicates what the meter, rhyme and sometimes the subject of the stanza will be. In the first couplet of the stanzas, either the name of Allah or one of the prophets is mentioned. The first word in the first line of the eleventh couplet tells us which stanza that stanza is, by abjad calculation. The first word in the second line indicates how many couplets have passed in the work until the end of that stanza. In the last two couplets, which Aynî called "beyt-i hümâyûn", a different path was followed than the other couplets. In the Beyt-i Hümâyûns, words equivalent to each other from the three languages were not given; most of the time, a verse was written in one of the three languages and translated into another language in the verse below. Aynî named the words that were used more frequently and were more important to learn in the stanzas as "mültezem" and placed an asterisk (flower) sign on both sides of these words. He drew a line on words that are not mültezem. The author also mentioned what is included in the forty stanzas and forty imperial couplets in the introduction of the work. Some of the stanzas in question are about the following topics: "Starting with the name of Allah, the attributes of Allah, the name of our Prophet, the names of the future (1st stanza)", "conditions of Islam and prayer (2nd stanza)", "words related to school (7th stanza)", "fiqh terms (51st stanza)", "hadith terms (stanza 59)”. Some of the topics mentioned by the mültezam Beyt-i Hümâyûns are as follows: "Conditions of Friday prayer (2nd stanza)", "five great prophets (4th stanza)", "Children of Prophet Muhammad and ten people who were given the good news of heaven (5th stanza)", "qualities that sultans should have (9th and 10th stanza)" (Aksoy 1959: 16). In Nazmü'l-Cevâhir, it is sometimes seen that a word is repeated more than three times in separate stanzas. Although this was sometimes done for a specific purpose, sometimes it remained just a repetition. In the stanzas written around a certain subject, naturally, not all words related to the subject were given, and words related to that subject were sometimes mentioned in different stanzas. However, there are also stanzas that fully include the words related to the subject on which they are written, such as the stanzas about "names of the Quran surahs" and "conditions of Islam". The work also includes some old Turkish words such as "gökçek (beautiful), ıssı (owner), kanda (where), karavul (on guard)", which are no longer used in our written language, as the equivalent of Arabic and Persian words. The work in question was published under the supervision of the author in 1246/1826. The second printing of the book was made in Matbaa-i Âmire in 1250/1834.
