Notes The work has been translated into Turkish, Latin, German and English, and various editions have been made. On pages 237b-238a, there is the Persian will of a person named Necm Halil. The work is Hz. It is the translation and commentary of one hundred aphorisms of Ali (r.a.) selected by Cahiz, made in the same style by Rashid al-Din al-Watwat. The author first made Arabic and Persian annotations of each couplet, and then gave Persian verse translations in two couplets. However, only the aphorisms and their Persian verse translations are included in this copy. A complete copy is registered in the Süleymaniye Library Hagia Sophia collection under inventory number 02854-004. The sentence given in the sources as the opening sentence of the work does not coincide with the opening sentence of the work in this copy. Also Hz. Not all of Ali's hundred aphorisms are included in this copy, respectively. We think that in this copy it was written using the initiative of the copyist.
Sample Text (230a) In the name of God... Praise be to God, the Regulator of the affairs of the people and the spreader of the law of justice in every club... And then these are one hundred words from the words of the Commander of the Faithful, the victorious Lion of God, Ali bin Abi Talib... And in the meaning of each word, there are two verses for the King of Speech, those with two statements, Rashid Al-Din Al-Watwat, who said, may God bless his face, that if the cover were to be removed, the state of eternity and the hell of Dunstum would not have increased in certainty... (237a) The heart of a fool behind his tongue is a fool's return, such a hot, hot, tempted, deluded, follower of a bastard, darling, harry, old man, with the help of a fool, if his sufficiency, Packard's saying was accomplished with God's help and good success.
