Notes
On page 1a, there is information about the work-author information, physical and collection information of the copy. There are explanations and notes on the content of the text in the margins of the pages. In the copy with a red ruler, the beginnings of the words are written in red ink. In the copy, narrators were used. Pages 11a-11b were torn into pieces. The work is a commentary on the rhetorical part of Sekkâkî's work called Miftâhu'l-Ulûm.

In the name of God... Lord, complete... We thank you, O God, for the precise meanings you have guided us to with the marvels of exposition, and you have shown us the proven truths with the pretexts of proof, and we pray for your Prophet, the Messenger of the noblest of religions, and your chosen Messenger from the sons of Adnan, Muhammad, the master of the Anam, and upon his honorable family and great companions... It has been on my mind for a long time, and it has been on my mind to arrange for the third section of the Miftah al-Ulum an explanation that will overcome its difficulties and free from its addictions. A union... The events of time and the engagement of the two events passed between me and him, until at the end of my life I was afflicted with traveling beyond the river, and I found there people with thirsty livers wandering around the book and not finding a way to its sources, and others who were deviated from the path... and in unraveling its compositions and revealing the jokes of its methods, they relied on explanations, most of which were wounding, and the most prominent of which was “infected” and “wounded” in which there is no cure for the ailment or a cure for the ill. People of the Book, you are not based on anything... We direct us to the direction of the one who seeks their desires, dictating to them what will save them from misguidance and grant them the most abundant success, in clear expressions without dictation and elegant indications without prejudice, in which we set forth the principles of benefits and prepare in it the tables of returns... Al-Mas said: The third section of the book is scientific about meanings and explanation. I say that he arranged his book into three sections... (274a)
When the author sets out to benefit this knowledge, it is obligatory for him not to believe in anything that is part of it, so it is obligatory for him to include in his book the science of reasoning that includes the knowledge of definition because it is part of the science of rhetoric, as he stated in what he passed and verified here. This is the last thing that God Almighty has facilitated through his grace and kindness in revealing the benefits of this science and organizing its pioneers. We ask God Almighty to benefit through it those who are guided and to make it an asset for us on the Day of Judgment. Praise be to His Guardian. And blessings be upon his Prophet...
