Notes Although there are two separate and complete treatises in the magazine, it was preferred to catalog the magazine as a whole and to give the information about the treatises in it and the cited work and author's name in the summary section, in order not to disrupt the integrity taken into consideration by the author who brought the magazine together. Sample Text (How can I do this) O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and Christians as allies, that is, do not take them as allies, enlightening them, seeking their help, making friends with them, and cohabiting with them as believers. Then he explained the prohibition by saying: Some of them are allies of one another, and all of them are enemies to the believers... (168b) ...And if the Qur’an is recited during prayer with melodies, if he changes the word, it becomes invalid, even if that is in the letters of Madd and Lain, which are Alif, Waw, and Ya’, and does not change the meaning, it is not invalidated unless it is obscene. However, if he changes the meaning or is obscene, then it is invalid in prayer, and in other than prayer it is forbidden. This is also in the gift of Ibn al-Imad al-Dimashqi.
