Notes Six different manuscripts bound in this volume. Taʿlīq script in black ink. The binding is covered by marbeled paper back.
Sample Text It is a work created and bound by bringing together 6 different manuscripts (Manuscript numbers: MS 567, MS 568, MS 569, MS 570, MS 571, MS 572). 567 AD: The Arabic work belonging to Taşköprülüzâde, one of the famous Ottoman thinkers and scholars who lived in the 16th century, deals with the subject of debate, which is a subject of the science of logic. In the work, also known with names such as Risâle fî ilmi'l-âdâb, Risâletu'l-âdâb, the definition of the debate, the duties of the parties in the debate and concepts such as men', nakz, sâil, mu'allil are discussed. This treatise, which is small in volume, is like a small dictionary of the science of debate. Taşköprülüzâde himself and İsmail Hakkı Bursevi wrote commentaries on the work. An investigative translation of the published work (Baghdad, 1955) has also been prepared (see References). Additional information: It is the first work of the magazine with six works. There is no record of copying in the copy. Ia-b is empty. In IIa-b there are rules regarding grammar and rhetoric. IIIa is empty. Expressive rules in IIIb-IVa, İbn-i Hâcib's ode in which he deals with heavenly muennes in Vb, irap in Va, nahvî fevâid in Vb, fevâid on simile in VIa, application of metaphor in VIb, analysis of the word "Allahumme" in VIIa, analysis of the word "Allahumme" in VIIb. In VIIIa, there is a favāid on sharī and nahwī, and in VIIIb, there is a fevāid on eloquence. IXa-b is empty. 568 AD: XVI. This Arabic work, which belongs to Taşköprüzâde, one of the famous Ottoman thinkers and scholars who lived in the 19th century, deals with the subject of debate, which is a subject of the science of logic. In this work, Taşkörülüzade himself annotated the Arabic work he had previously written, called Adabü'l-Bahsi ve'l-Münazara. In the work, the description of the debate, the duties of the parties in the debate, and concepts such as ban, nakz, sail, muallil are discussed. In the work, the author states that there are nine etiquettes of discussion and explains them; İsmail Hakkı Bursevi also wrote a commentary on Taşköprülüzade's source text. Additional information: It is the second work of the Six Works magazine. The copy of the work we have is missing from the last page. Therefore, there is no record of copying. 9a is empty. In some borders, there are a small number of fevâid, including min huvât. The copy is rejected. 569 AD: It is the summary of the third part of Miftâhu'l-'Ulûm, one of the founding texts in the field of rhetoric written by Sekkâkî, prepared by Celaleddin Muhammed el-Hatib el-Kazvini under the name Telhisü'l-Miftah. Many people, especially Teftazani, have studied Telhis, which was taught as a textbook in Ottoman madrasahs. The commentator mentions some of the literary flaws in Miftâhu'l-'Ulûm, which he presents as the most valuable work in terms of content and organization in the field of rhetoric, as hasviyat (unnecessary words), tatvilat (unnecessary extensions) and Ta'kidat. Additional information: It is the third work of the magazine with six works. Seyyid Hafiz Halil b. The part of the ist was completed by Ömer; There is no information about copying time and place. 9b, 15a-b are empty. The matlaps on the edges of sheets 21b, 23a, 24b, 27a are in circles written in red ink. There are empty circles drawn in red ink at 32b, 39a, 40a, 41a, and these were probably left empty for later writing. In 50b, around the copying record, there are Arabic and Turkish couplets related to the copying written by the copyist. 51a-51b are empty. There are very few annotations on the margins. The copy is rejected. 570 AD: Many works in the genre of Îsâgûcî were written, which are about genus, species, division, hasse and araz-ı 'am, known as kulliyat-ı hamse in the science of logic. Esîruddin el-Ebherî's (d. 663/1265) work known as Îsâgûcî fi'l-Mantık ve Risaletu'l-Esîriyye fi'l-Mantık is the most famous work of Îsâgûcî literature. Commentaries, annotations and instructions were written on this text of Ebheri, which was taught as a textbook in Ottoman madrasahs. Hüsâmeddin Hasan el-Kâtî's (d. 1359) Şerhu Îsâgûcî and Molla Fenârî's (d. 834/1431) el-Fevâidu'l-Fenâriyye are among the leading ones. Annotations were also written on Molla Fenârî's el-Fevâidu'l-Fenâriyye. Ahmed b., known as Kul Ahmed. Muhammad b. The annotation of Hızır that we have is one of these works. The work is called Kul Ahmed (or, famously, "Kavl-i Ahmet") after its author. There are various editions of the work together with el-Fevâidu'l-Fenâriyye. Additional information: It is the fourth work of the magazine with six works. Its copy is by Hafiz Halil b. It was completed by Ömer in Rebiulahir 1266/February-March 1850. 52a is empty. In 88b, there is a Turkish ode describing the forms of qiyas, and in 89a, there is a commentary on the science of tafsir. In 88a, there is a couplet written by the copyist, "The copying of the book is complete/The scribe requires sherbet". 89b is empty. There are a few annotations in the margins, and at the end of the annotation in 57a, there is the expression "Musannife ta'rîzdir." The copy is rejected. 571 AD: Many works in the genre of Îsâgûcî were written, which are about genus, species, division, hasse and araz-ı 'am, known as kulliyat-ı hamse in the science of logic. Esîruddin el-Ebherî's work, known as Îsâgûcî fi'l-Mantık and Risaletu'l-Esîriyye fi'l-Mantık, is the most famous work of Îsâgûcî literature. Commentaries, annotations and instructions were written on this text of Ebheri, which was taught as a textbook in Ottoman madrasahs. Hüsâmeddin Hasan el-Kâtî's Şerhu Îsâgûcî and Molla Fenârî's el-Fevâi du'l-Fenâriyye are among the leading ones. Additionally, annotations were written on these commentaries. The work was translated by Abdulkuddus Bingöl. Additional information: It is the fifth work of the six-work magazine. There is no record of copying, but the copyist of the four copies in this magazine is Hafız Halil b. It must have been copied by Ömer. There are comments on logic in 90a. In 94a, the copyist wrote the couplet "I wrote this to be a souvenir/To make those who read it a prayer." There are correction records in the margins. The copy is rejected. 572 AD: Many works in the genre of Îsâgûcî were written, which are about genus, species, division, hasse and araz-ı 'am, known as kulliyat-ı hamse in the science of logic. Esîruddin el-Ebherî's work, known as Îsâgûcî fi'l-Mantık ve Risaletu'l-Esîriyye fi'l-Mantık, is the most famous work of Îsâgûcî literature. Commentaries, annotations and instructions were written on this text of Ebheri, which was used as a textbook in Ottoman madrasahs. The Commentary of Hüsâmeddin Hasan el-Kâtî and this commentary of the first Ottoman Shaykh al-Islam, Molla Fenârî, are the most important of these. Annotations were also written on this commentary of Molla Fenari. Ahmed b., known as Kul Ahmed. Muhammad b. Hızır, Abu Bakr b. Abdulvahhab and Burhanuddin Ebu Kemaluddin are also among the authors of this commentary. In the introduction of the work, Molla Fenârî records that he started writing this work (Îsâgûcî), which he wrote for the consideration of the students (ihvân), in the early hours of the morning on a winter day (aksari'l-eyyâm) and finished it with the evening adhan. About the magazine: Three features of the magazine attract attention. The first is a magazine focused on logic and debate. There is a text-commentary relationship between works one and two, and works five and six. The second feature is that although the name of the scribe is written on only two of the copies, all the copies are from the same copyist (Hafız Halil b. Ömer). Because just as the font characters of the copies are similar to each other, the writing characters are also similar to each other. Likewise, in the copies, the sheets prepared simply in a semicircular shape in red ink are the same; The rejections are similar to each other. In the first three copies, only the first leaves are tabulated. There are couplets with similar meanings next to some copying records. The most important of all is that some copies are in contradiction with the tradition of copying. As a matter of fact, the first and second copies start from the "a" side of the leaf. Although there is no record of ownership in the magazine, the copyist Hafız Halil b. It is possible to say that it belongs to Ömer. The third feature of the magazine is that there are a small number of annotations in the margins. Additional information: It is the sixth work of the magazine with six works. The copy of the work we have is missing the last part; Therefore, there is no record of copying. However, the copy was written by Hafız Halil b., who was also the copyist of the other copies in this magazine. It must have been copied by Ömer. 113b-115b are empty. There are a few correction records in the margins. The copy is rejected.
