Sample Text It is a work created and bound by bringing together 4 different manuscripts (Manuscript numbers: MS 432, MS 433, MS 434, MS 435). AD 432: The work is written by Imam-i Azam Numan b. It is the commentary of the book named al-Maqsud, which is attributed to Sabit (d. 150/767) and has been taught as a textbook in madrasahs for hundreds of years. The commentator, who is mostly known for this work, states that he wrote this commentary so that his brother, whose name he did not mention for the reason of writing, started reading al-Maksud and so that he and others like him could understand al-Maksud better. The narrator states that he named the work Rûhu'ş-şurûh, but the work is better known to the scientific public as Rûhu'ş-Şurûh fî Şerhi'l-Maksûd. That's why the second one is preferred in the catalogue. The copyist of the copy should be a person named Mahmud. The copying was completed in Aydın, Güzelhisar in 1149/1736-7. In Ia, year 1040/1630-1 and year 1037/1627-8 are recorded, and in 1b, year 1047/1637-8 is recorded. In IIa, there are quotations on morphology from the work named Seyfu'ş-şurûh and an unreadable seal. IIb-IIIa is empty. In IIIb, there is a quote from the work named Şerhu'l-Kifâye. Here, the nicknames/names of twenty-one people and the amount of donations they made, including names such as Menteşeli Hacı İsmail's son Hacı Muhammed, Gümülcelili Molla Abdullah, Hatuniyye resident Koca Adem, Debbağ Hacı Mahmud, Eskici Hacı Mustafa, etc. are listed. Today, there are mosques named Hatuniyye in places such as Amasya, Tokat, Kahramanmaraş, Manisa and Izmir. It is difficult to determine which of these mosques is meant here. The author also claims that no work had been written on this subject until his time. As far as we know, the work we have is being brought to light for the first time. Because, in the studies on Zeynizade, it is not mentioned that he had such a work, and no copy of it was encountered in library searches. III of the work. The author, who states that it was written at the request of Mustafa's imam, prays for a long time to the sultan. The publication of the work was completed by the author after the Friday prayer on 15 Shawwal 1173/2 April 1760. The copyright/publication date of the work also clarifies the discussions regarding the death of the author. Ahmet Turan Arslan, who claims that the year 1754 given by Mehmet Tahir of Bursa in Ottoman Authors is wrong, claims that the author could have died in 1759 at the earliest. The copyright/publication record of the copy we have also falsifies the date given by Mehmet Tahir from Bursa. On the other hand, Ali b., who copied the work in 1175/1762. Even though the scribe uses the adjectives al-fâzıl, al-kamil and al-mudakkik when talking about the author in the recording, he does not use any adjectives/prayers that imply that he has passed away. Thus, the work we have makes a significant contribution to the discussions on Zeynizade's death date and shows that he was alive in 1762 at the earliest. It is the third work of the magazine consisting of four works. The copyist of the second copy of this magazine is Ali b. Abdulhayy b. el-Hâcc Mustafa. The copy we have was copied from the copy that was corrected by the author, but it was not compared with that copy afterwards. The copyist explains his reason for not comparing it with the aforementioned copy in an interesting way by relying on the original copy. In 62a, there is a fevâid about the imprint of the work and the science of sharf, in 108b, there is a fevâid about the 'Sharfî' showing the difference between "Inne" and "Enne", in 109a, there is a fevâid about vaz', nahiv, procedure and general culture, and in 109b, there is a fevâid pointing out the different meanings in which the verb "İ'lem" is used with "Vâv" and "Fâ". In the margins of the copy there are notes conveyed by the author. AD 435: It is a work written on the conjugation of babs in the science of sarf. In the introduction of the work, the author Zeynîzâde states that there are actually forty chapters in the science of sâf, but thirty-five of them are mentioned in the book al-Binâ, and Birgivî added one more chapter to these forty chapters in his work called Kifâye. Then, he adds that he wrote this book by mentioning that the conjugation of these chapters according to the rules of grammar and syntax was difficult for many students and even some professors. Musannif adds that he wrote this work for students, as is his custom in his other works.
