Sheikh Ali Al-Khaqani was aware of this manuscript, as its author translated: (Al-Ghari, 2 [Al-Najaf 1360 AH] vol. 72, p. 1227): under the title (Manuscript Antiquities in Baghdad) - from the phrase “Uthmaniya” in the title: They are the supporters of Uthman ibn Affan, those protesting his virtue, struggling on his behalf, and defending the attacks of those who opposed him. They were known in the past by this name, and they were a branch of the “Umariyya,” the companions of Omar ibn al-Khattab. About me investigating (Al-Uthmaniyah) and its explanation: Abdul Salam Muhammad Haroun: (Al-Jahiz Library: Book Three. Dar Al-Kitab Al-Arabi Press - Cairo 1955, 1 - 20 pp.: Al-Muhaqqiq’s Introduction + 1 - 280 pp.: Text of “Al-Uthmaniyah” + 282 - 343: Abu Jaafar Al-Iskafi’s contradictions to some of what Al-Jahiz mentioned in “Al-Uthmaniyah” from “Explanation of Nahj Al-Balagha” by Ibn Abi Al-Hadid+ 346 - 367 pp.: Indexes). In his introduction, (the investigator) completed the study of “Uthmanism” and dealt with “refuting Ottomanism.” Also, Hassan Al-Sandoubi, in his book “Al-Jahiz Letters,” singled out a group of texts in which he “refuted the Ottoman Empire.” Scattered in “Explanation of Nahj al-Balagha” by Ibn Abi al-Hadid (d. 655 AH). See: “Al-Jahiz Letters,” Cairo, 1352 AH - 1933 AD, pp. 1-66. And regarding “Uthmaniyah” see: (Dr. Nasser al-Din al-Assad: “Uthmaniyah by al-Jahiz” Criticism: (“Journal of the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts” 2 [Cairo - May 1956], vol. 1, pp. 212-215), and (Charles Balla: “About the Book of Mules”: “Journal of the Institute of Arab Manuscripts”, 3 [Cairo - May 1957]. Vol. 1, pp. 162-163) - the aforementioned author. He was one of the Imami jurists and hadith scholars. Some historians called him a jurist of Ahl al-Bayt. He wrote a collection of books in eighty-two volumes, following the conclusion with a very precise pen: “This book was written by Ibn Tawus Ahmad bin Musa bin Ja’far al-Alawi al-Husseini. He had a brother called Ali bin Musa, who was also a scholar, followed by nine verses of poetry, the first of which is: For God’s sake, there is no longing for me The land of Iraq and below: “These verses were written by the youngest of the servants of God Almighty, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ali, to his master, his master, and his father, Izz al-Din...” followed by five pages containing: Scientific benefits regarding the book. It was written on the title leaf: If this book were sold for its weight in gold, the fooled seller would be the book on the construction of the upper article in rebutting the Uthmani message, known as Nuth al-Uthmaniyyah, written by the master of jurists and the most eminent peacock of scholars, Ahmad ibn Musa ibn Jaafar bin Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Tawus, may God Almighty sanctify his soil, the owner of good news and sanctuary, in the handwriting of his wise and learned student Taqi al-Din bin Daoud, the well-known master of men, and it was read in the presence of the Sherif, with his handwriting on it in some places. Praise be to God, the reward that he bestowed on his guilty, offending servant, Hussein bin Muhammad Taqi al-Nuri al-Tabarsi, in the holy region. Whoever saw it was pleased. Thousands of greetings and praises were given in its honor in the year after a thousand and eight. And three. God has provided us with the benefit of it...
