Notes	It was stated at the beginning of the manuscript: The third volume of the parsing of the Qur’an by Ibn al-Samyn. In folio 1a, the title of the book mentioned the word “sciences” in the plural, not the singular, and the name of the author therein: Shihab al-Din Ahmad bin Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Masoud al-Samyn, and in the last folio the name of the author was mentioned: Ahmad bin Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Masoud al-Shafi’i al-Halabi, quoted from the author in his own handwriting, and it contains other miscellaneous benefits. The date of composition was found in the last folio in the author’s handwriting, with a comment on, Footnotes Simple comments, the transcriber: Al-Sakhawi translated it for him in the Brilliant Light and mentioned that he copied a lot for himself, including the parsing of Al-Samin.
Sample Text	Surat Al-Nur, the Almighty’s saying, “A Surah We have sent down...” is permissible in its nominative case in two ways, one of which is that it be a subject, and the sentence after it is an attribute of it, and that is the justification for beginning with an indefinite noun. And in the predicate, there are two forms, one of which is that it is a sentence from his saying, “The adulterer and the adulterer....” And to this we follow Ibn Attiya, for he said: It is permissible for it to be a subject. And the report “The adulteress and the adulterer” and what comes after that, and the meaning of the Surah revealed is imposed on such and such, since the Surah is a list of verses that have a beginning and an end.
