The writer announces that a certain Si Humintar has escaped. He asks the officer to do his best to find the fugitive. Towards the end of the letter follows the request in Malay language that the officer may send him gunpowder and bullets, because his stock is already exhausted, whereas his enemy has already taken Siunong-unong.
