The lines of text on the verso run upside down to the Chinese block-printed lines on the recto. See also Zieme (2021a), 147 (manuscript E). A text correction
Strikeout in /v/01/ is present. What is noticeable is that there is no punctuation
consists of a composition of dots, but of small horizontal lines,
cf. e.g. /v/04/ end of line (end of sentence character, consisting of five lines). — black — Uyghur script → Cursive script — paper — Old Uyghur version of the Chan tractate Xitanzhang. The text section obtained corresponds
Taishō 2779, vol. 85, 536b 2-11, see the edition in Zieme (2021a), 169-177. The
Altuigur text corresponds to lines 078-113 in the Edition Zieme (2021a). However
Manuscript E was not taken into account in the text reconstruction of this text section.
The text of Ch/U 7408 verso does not immediately set the text of Ch/U 7399 verso
continued. The gap is approximately 8 Chinese when looking at the Chinese front
