Notes
Q marked by two dots; the spelling oḍguruk in line U 2970b/page 02/03/
is noticeable, typographical error(?) — black — Uyghur script → Square script — paper — Unidentified Buddhist text. U 2970a mentions the bad paths
and the "disease of passion" the noble eightfold path to enlightenment. Also
a reference to an epithet of the Budhha is present: tosın äränlärig turulturdačı "Who tames the wild men" (Skt. <I>puruṣadamyasārathi</I>).
In the text of the small fragment U 2970b these are the Jetavana Monastery and the "Kleśa Fire"
mentioned. The two fragments certainly belong to a manuscript, their affiliation
to a sheet is not saved.
