The Arabic language is a language that has prose and poetic characteristics, and is characterized by strength and accuracy. The Omanis have been known for their eloquence and eloquence since the pre-Islamic era, and for being brilliant orators and poets. This ingenuity and precision were reflected in the artistry of writing the most beautiful poems and proverbs. The Omanis were not satisfied with making Arabic calligraphy a means of communication only; Rather, it goes beyond it to become one of the wonderful plastic arts. Verbal expression is still very popular in Oman to this day; Great poets and narrators have a prominent position in society. As for proverbs and sayings, whether written or circulated among people, It is a means of transmitting wisdom and human knowledge. This is done through common sense. These proverbs and wisdom are usually quoted from the hadiths of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or from the poems of poets, or from the thoughts of thinkers, and the opinions of scholars. This gunpowder horn was designed to fill the muzzle of a gun with gunpowder, and its decorative upper part can be opened. This is to refill it with gunpowder again. This horn was made of silver covered with ornate gold, and on it is inscribed a line of poetry that says: “If it is not from death by blood, then it is incapable that you die a coward.”
