E. Gratzl, Equipment: Points are sometimes missing. R. slightly yellowed. Occasional traces of erasing and smudging. - The text is written quite incorrectly, especially when it comes to the dotting, Literature: H. Ritter, Studies on the History of Islamic Piety, II: The beginnings of the Ḥurūfī sect, in: Oriens 7 (1954), pp. 1–54., Cover: Oriental calico binding with red leather spine and corners, Contents: Presentation of the Hurufi teachings based on the writings of the founder of the Hurufiya, Fazlallah., Content: The work consists largely of verses or poems and a small portion of prose pieces. Numerous sayings from the Prophet, in some places also those from Ali and Jafar as-Sadiq (7a and others), and verses from the Koran are inserted into the text (all in red). The content clearly reflects the teachings of Hurufiya. Here too, Adam is the central figure in whose face God has revealed himself (Vech-i Âdem mazhar-i zât-i hudâ, ll. 41b, 6). The second manifestation of God is the word, the speech of God, which, among other things, consists of letters (see 4ff.), which is linked to the well-known Hurufian letter theory. In this context, the prologue of the Gospel of John plays a role (8a, 5ff.), as does the cursing of Satan because he did not recognize the identity of names and things/ism ve müsemmâ, eşyâʾ (6a, 6ff., 36a, 13ff.) (36b, 3ff.) and did not prostrate himself before Adam (36b, 6ff.). What is interesting is the identification of Jesus with Adam and with the Mahdi (pp. 58a, 12f.) and the mention of the Trinity (55b, 11). In addition to the specifically Hurufic topics, the anonymous author deals with the ascension of the Prophet/miʿrâc (29b), with the vision Muh stated in Sura 53. ammads (33a-34b), about the Kaaba (38b, 14ff., 40b, 11-43a), also about eschatological (39aff. etc.) and Sufic topics (27a)
