Notlar Coarse Indian nasta'alīq; balnk spcase reserved for illustrations, drawings and headings. According to the colophon it was copied for Majd al-Dawlah Bahādur. The treatise begins abruptly with the story of Sālhutrā (Sālhutar) and his disciples. One of the numerous Persian adaptations of the Hindu system of veterinary art as concerned with horses, usually ascribed to an ancient sage, Sālhutrā (Sālhutar). 11 lines per page, catch words. Pages are in two different colors: pink (f.1a-90b, 95a-96b), rest of the text is copied on yellow papers. Transcribers' name, copy date and the alternative titles are from colophon. Manuscript. Incipit : که تکل هندو از فرشته آموخته بود ... Presented to the library by casey Wood in 1927. Half cover black leather, black bubble grain cloth cover boards, hinges are repaired with black tape, stab sewn.
Örnek Metin A treatise on the creation of the horse and its diseases. This is a translation of an earlier work in Sanskrit by Abdallahkhan Bahadur Firuzjang which itself was based on an earlier Persian work by Ibn Sayyid Abu-alhusain.
