Miscellaneous collection of Persian, Chaghatay Turkic and Arabic works on Sufi poetry, Islamic tradition, and divination based on the Qurʾān , comprised of heterogeneous items. Volume not dated; datable from the late eighteenth to early nineteenth centuries. Rough scribal nastaʿlīq by multiple hands. Stamped foliation. Lacking original binding. Reddish brown leather binding (datable to 1998). Old paper dust wrapper bound in at end after folio 65 (BEIC legal publication on Regulation II for 1819); watermark (T Stains, 1816); attached note (probably in the hands of Charles Storey). Folios cropped and rebound; torn, stains, wormholes, later repairs; recent BL conservation repairs (dated 3/[19]98).
