Fiziksel açıklama Tile in the shape of an eight-pointed star (with one point missing), fritware. The central field is decorated in reserve against a ground of golden-brown lustre. The main motif is a palmette tree which is filled in with cobalt blue and turquoise pigments. The surrounding area is filled with palmette forms, and there are dabs of turquoise pigments flowers at the top at right and left. In the base of the tile is a small pond with two fishes. Around the edge is a border inscription in cursive script, in lustre on a white ground, and outlined at top and bottom with cobalt blue lines. There is a scar from damage or a manufacturing flaw near the centre of the tile. (Translation of the inscription: "In the name, &c. Truly we have given thee an abundance. Pray therefore to thy Lord, and slay [the victims]. Verily, whoso hateth thee be childless!" -- "In the name, &c. Say, [He is one God!] God the Everlasting! He begetteth not, and He is not begotten; and there is none like unto Him." Koran : Suras 108, 112.)
