Fiziksel açıklama Pair of saddle bags woven in a flat weave resembling Soumak in that the pattern weft goes over two warps and under four, but they are beaten horizontal on the front and worked from the same direction each time so that there is no herringbone effect. A pass of thin ground weft holds the warp threads in place between each pass of double pattern weft. All the threads are carried across the back of the material. The field is a hexagonal lattice, and each panel contains a stepped diamond with flowerets rising from the steps. The narrow border contains S-forms within hexagons.
