Malzemeler ve teknikler Cotton yarn, weaving, painting, dyeing, block printing
Fiziksel açıklama Hanging of painted, resist dyed, block printed, fine, machine woven, plain weave cotton. Cream ground on which has been painted the stylised picture a polo match. There are four horsemen with three servants and the match is taking place on a rocky place. Three of the horsemen wear the Safavid headdress called a taj. There is a pair of polo goal posts upper right of centre. In between two lines of hills is a ruler on horseback with an attendant ,also on horseback ,carrying a polo mallet and the head and shoulders of another servant. Behind a second line of hills are two drummers and a man playing a wind instrument. There is a pink and blue cloudy sky. Above this scene are two lines of text painted in black within a white cartouche; the cartouches are on a yellow ground bordered by a band of blue and white chevrons. Over this is a blue band with a yellow meander with triangular shapes in red and white [band a]. On the other three sides is a narrow white band with a simple ogival chain of flower heads in red and black [band b]. Beyond these is a wide band with large inwards pointing leaf forms alternating with two separate leaf forms on a red feathered ground. The leaf forms contain a leafy floral spray in blue with some red on a yellow ground. Edged with a repeat of band [a]. Across the top end the leaves point outwards and this band rests on a wider white ground floral meander. The uppermost band consists of a number of isolated floral sprays in blue and red. There are several places where printing is badly aligned and other places where the registration of individual blocks in obvious.
